Abhira want to postpone the shaadi, but Mimi disagrees, because she is scared and thinks they need to fight these challenges. The Birlas get upset, saying Manjari has to be there. Harsh says Manjari handles everything, and there is no way Abhi will get married without his mom. This was a nice moment of him standing up for his wife. He is softening up, but again, it is going to take a hell of a lot to make up for his years and years of abuse towards her.
There is a back and forth between the families, but what is the most hypocritical to me is that no one cared when Akshu had her accident. They wanted to all move forward with the wedding. And now suddenly, things are so different… this really pissed me off.
It is angel’s time and Akshu asks god to do something. Just then, Manjari regains consciousness. She calls for Abhi and Akshu, having flashbacks of the tilak. Abhi goes, and she says she had a vision right before getting hit that she wouldn’t be there at their engagement. She says life is uncertain, so they should get married ASAP. Abhi remembers Mimi’s words, and Manjari gives him her kasam that engagement won’t be postponed and that Akshu will sing and dance to piya toshe.
Abhi calls the cops to the hospital to apologize for his behavior yesterday and that as a doctor, he understands family members freak out but these things can take time. He just wants to punish whoever did this. Once again, he proves his character and his moral compass.
Aarohi is freaking out that Manjari has regained consciousness. She does not care about her health, but rather than she might have seen something. She starts crying, and Akshu asks her what happened in front of everyone. Abhi sees her sweating, and asks her if she has done another kaand. Neil and Mahima notice too, and there is emphasis on their expressions. Akshu says that Sirat died from an accident, so Aarohi is probably just upset because of that. But, Abhi, Neil, and Mahima clearly do not buy it. Their radar is on her now. She is not getting away with this whether or not she did the accident — she is going to get caught for her intoxicated driving and reckless behavior.
Something tells me that Neil might go after her just like he did with the MD kaand and ultimately he was responsible for uncovering the fire truth too.
Aarohi tells Akshu that everything is going to be okay now and to focus on the engagement. She is done creating kaands because she will be too busy being scared sh*tless. I’m excited to see this new phase while it lasts. We will get some functions in peace.
The engagement is happening, and all the Goenaks and Birlas say they will work together to plan it — Harsh included.
Goenkas at their house say there is a special rasam today to do Abhi’s pooja and Akshu pretends to be mad that she doesn’t get her pooja done too. She says that now she is creating a new rasam for Abhi too that he will never forget — excited to see what this is!

Now… one doubt. What exactly did Manjari tell Abhi that we didn’t see? It does not make sense for Abhi to remain calm if she saw Aarohi behind the wheel and told him. Even if Abhi is trying to make Aarohi confess on her own, there is no way he doesn’t explode immediately. That is so out of character for him. Unless Manjari gave him her kasam to remain calm until after the shaadi or something, but even that seems to be a stretch. At this point, I think he’s just beginning to doubt her based on her reaction!
Also, I remain convinced that the driver did it!
