Shaadi ke pehle things are easier bcoz you are dealing with your own parents or siblings. But when the DIL changes, all equations change. If this change is handled with maturity from both sides there will not be a problem.

In my opinion, more than the women , it is the men who play the more imp role. If they are fair and impartial in conflicts, things would be easier.
