It might be controversial but...

You know what makes me sad? There are not many canon parrings labeled as asexual but the existing ones are important.

One of them is Aziraphale and Crowley from Good Omens (at least in the book it was stated that they are both asexual as celestial beings). But many people see them as homosexual couple (even tho they are probably genderless or at least not male in our understanding). It kinda causes the asexual erasure which is hurtful.

And don’t get me wrong I’m a fan of homosexual pairings (as you can see in my previous posts) both canon and fanon.

I just think that every sexual minority has the right to have representation so when you label the asexual parring as homosexual it feels like denying us that right. And it’s sad.

So are they gay or are they ace?

I know it's upto interpretation, but is it made clearer in the books or has NG ever said anything about how he and TP wrote them?

Yes they are celestial beings who don't have sex or gender so they are an asexual couple, Neil has said it in a few interviews but he also said that since they are perceived as males it is open to homosexual interpretation as well.

Them being aces makes more sense TBH❤️

The lack of response is underwhelming mostly but I live by Maya Angelou's words write the story you wanna read. And my target audience is myself, anyone else is a bonus! ❤️

This! To thine own self be true, write what you wanna write (and by extension read). This is what I've been trying to follow, and you cannot please all of the people all of the time, so at least you can try to please yourself!

Also, IF has changed so much, man. I used to get such amazing response to my fics earlier, but now most people cannot be bothered to even leave a one line comment (even if they do read). So yh

Haan, good ol' days.. these days it's more like I'll leave a comment if you do on mine.. and sometimes people don't even read the story/chapter..

Like sometime ago when I updated someone commented it was awesome, continue soon and a character died there I was like that wasn't awesome in any manner 😭
