@b: Exactly. You learn something new everyday. It's not a personal insult if you don't know something and if someone is willing to teach you, it's not wrong or it does not mean they mean to insult you. It's could always be that they want you to learn something new. Aryan thought her something new that day, something that would make her no less than her peers (not that she is). Maybe he was a lil rude but that's his character trait.

Parallely he does not mind if she eats with her hand in his house. Tab he doesn't say eat with your chopsticks. It's simply the case of When in Rome, be a Roman. Because if not me, someone else will say you the same thing, albeit more bitterly.

Honestly I don't even remember the first scene I saw him in. A YouTube vm suggestion was what made me search this pairing. I didn't know anything else about the serial except the basic story.

I guess Shiddat was what grabbed my interest and then his character slowly grew on me. There were many wow moments in the middle. The most prominent trait for me (apart his swag) was that he did not bother about her status/ way of speaking/dressing. His tough version of love was so enticing and it was about her. Her growth and not his own ideology or baggage of some sorts.

Ok I know we all have had multiple discussions about this. Butttttt I have a new scenario.

what if - this is a big What if?

Just before the wedding Imlie says forget AKT if he has to go to prison he can go to prison but I am not marrying you. And then Aryan just turns around and says that’s ok. Don’t marry me. And is happy coz Imlie put herself first.

BUT he does not send AKT to jail coz he knows that would be under false pretences and ASR would not do that. I guess what I’m trying to say is for the first time Imlie would have chosen herself and not been a sacrificial lamb and Aryan would be like that is a good enough lesson and growth. And reminded Imlie that people look after themselves first.

The only thing in this scenario is that ASR is keen to marry….But the thing is they have come so far ahead in the rituals that they cannot back out without the world (read mothers) thrashing them so they chose to get married?!?

I mean everything starting frm his entry.....but the way he interacted wid his mother n sister....

the soft boi which came out just for them (I really hate the angry young man trope jo apni mase sidhe muh baat nai kar sakte😡)n d way he took d aarti imlie gave even though he doesn't have faith.....

And then the chopstick scene sealed the deal for me

And for arylie was the gile baal se thappad scene and then that monotone me "cham cham" god I must have laughed for 5min atleast at that🤣 There I knew I am rooting for this couple..😆

The two key scenes that made me love Aru was the chopsticks and teaching Imlie how to drive scene. These two scenes cemented him as completely fresh rich, charming, Akdu for other but softy for the ones her love ML. He was so unlike many MLs we have seen in itv previously. The first time I got attracted to his body and attitude was when he put Malini in her place when she came to offer him a partnership deal. His attitude, his dialogues and his posture everything was so goddamn sexy in that scene. That teesri baat udhaar had me drooling at that time not gonna lie.

I feel like I missed on a lot of small moments because I binged 2.5 months worth of the show in January, so the moments like the "Cham Cham" cracked me up but didn't make much of a memorable impact until I revisited them after falling for the pair already. The chopsticks scene was where I went from "aww cute, has potential" to "I need these two to get together"

This show wins best cinematography hands down, nothing else compares right now. They've got an incredible cast... well capable of delivering gold medal standard performances time after time, now if only the storyline could live up to scratch this show would rule the charts.

I fell for him the moment he said this dialogue to Imlie - “Main tumhari zindagi mein woh pehla shaks hu jo idiot nahin hai.”

I was sold at the confidence he had. 😆
