I know khudse na ho pa raha kuch to atleast Sk ko to le aa bhai...Chugli hi karle....SK has awesome screen presence...

The only way out of this if the wedding doesn’t happen is if aryan already told meethi what he was doing and why he was doing it before bringing her to the wedding. otherwise with no monologues etc hard to turn this ship around

All of this is done so mechanically. The mehndi. The removing of the Jewellery. The engagement. The holi (I won’t include in this because they were kinda intoxicated and had feelings) but overall everything is quite mechanical with minimal to none romantic feels.

I am a silent reader and I am watching it only after Aryan entered the show. I watched the Malayalam version a few years ago. it was only about Imlie. I didn't feel like Aditya and Imlie as a couple in that, Aryan was not there and Imlie ended up as a doctor. in Hindi they made Aditya fall for her despite in a 7year relationship with Malini. I couldn't connect to that. Imlie falling for Aditya after marriage is relatable as that is what happens in most of Indian marriages. it is love out of obligation. emotional and physical abuse that she undergoes and family adding fuel to fire. you can not expect trust in such a relation. I am happy that she could come out of that toxicity. Aryan was a fresh breath to the cycle of toxicity. he only held her hand to move out. I consider Aryan as a "helicopter cum tiger mother" to Imlie baby. he self assumed role of her protector the moment he brought her home carrying in his arms. thereafter he is always on protection mode
