Why Shubhu Is ❤️

This is a Shubhu appreciation post. We all know that Like the CVs ka continuity brain Shubhu is largely absent. It’s almost like Vedu ka nahi, Shubhu ka Juhu mein Bungalow hai and that’s where he lives. But when he comes, he’s so helpful. I’d like to enumerate why and with this little post, increase the love for Shubhu.

1. Shubhu loves his sister. There is no doubt that he adores Shivi and is constantly looking out for her well-being. Tbf Akki doesn’t really scream stable husbaaand especially since Shivi for all intents and purposes has only been shown as nice but materialistic. Shubhu looks out for that side
2. Shubhu respects his Ram bhai so much that he doesn’t even dare look at him eye to eye. This is why he always wears sun glasses at home. Jurrrrat nahi hai, bhai ki disrespect karne ki. And when he does look him in the eye, he gets sunaoed (case in point yest). Basically combination of following 1 and rejecting 2 mein bamboo lag gayi! He must know 2>1
3. Coming to that, we know maths weak hai. I personally thinks he lives in the world of negative numbers and therefore 5>95, 1>2. Kyunki uski duniya ka yeh hi sach hai.
4. Shubhu is often the pulse of the audience. I mean don’t we groan when they start with all the mythological connections? Shubhu does that for us on screen.
5. Shubhu is the only useful one when his bhai and bhabi take turns to faint, bleed, die, come back from death. You can always see the worry on his face and he is the first to call the doctor. You cannot blame him for rolling his eyes when the doctor says ridiculous things like inka allergy aap se serious hai without running any tests. Shubhu knows doctor uncle only wants uss day ka fees.
6. Shubhu looks out for his Ram bhai’s grahasti. He even goes as far as to flirt with Vedu, Sid, Shashi etc etc. so they all don’t trouble his Ram bhai’s slow burn Louve. Shubhu is besht.
7. Shubhu is also the only one that knows his bhai loves it when his bhabhi screams at bhai. Can you really fault him for therefore creating scenarios where his bhabhi has to yell? I think not. Refer to point 5 agar iss point pe koi confusion hai toh.

Shubhu will apologise a 1000 times over for his Ram Bhai and won’t bat an eyelid. Dil gold ka hai bachhe ka. Shubhu is the dark knight, cos you either die a hero (which Papa Kapoor has already done) or live long enough to be the villain. But villain hi sahi, if it’s for his Ram Bhai.

I rest my case.

Tbh, initially I understood Nandini's motivations, because from her POV, Akki is not good enough for Shivi because she's used to a very luxurious lifestyle. She was just looking out for her girl.

Par ab thoda zyada ho gaya hai! Accept it and move on, woman.

Like Priya said (though in Vedika's context) - koi job bhi nahi karti, taaki mind diverted rahe - applies to Nandini and Mami as well 😆

I want shudhu to turn positive! He will have a very cute bond with Priya!

I kinda find Shubhu-Ram’s bond more genuine than Ram-Shivi’s bond. Though Shivi is the pampered only little sister of both the brothers, she is more of i want this and i want that, i dont care whats going on with you guys kind. Shivi isnt bad at all, and wont do wrong stuff but Shubhu’s more caring, he is just misguided. And also he is trying to be a good son by listening to his mom, but from inside he doesnt really approve of it 100%. Like in annulment track when Ram-Priya were getting all the compatibility answers right he said they r made for each other n kinda was like please drop the act. He deserves more screen space and if he gets it i hope they dont spoil his character n instead grow his character to a good supporting character

And he kinda dont have much issues with Priya the one he has issues with is Akki. I kinda like it when he calls Priya as Bhabi. His one-liners r funny 😆 I like him and his friend Sid scenes 😆

And Nandu looked more offended than Shubhu over the 5% thing tbh, but Shubhu also was offended too.

I kinda find him hilarious with those glasses I cant 🤣 I really hope they show devar-bhabi bonding between Shubhu n Priya.

If show was 100% realistic they would have shown a scene like Priya teaching Shubham how to handle basic stuff in business

This is my thought process, Shubhu will turn positive and it will be due to Priya. She will willingly return the 5% and also shield him from Ram's wrath. See Akki/Sara are now Team Ram, Shivi is on Team Priya. So Shubhu should become positive and become Team Priya

There is some kind of respect he has for Priya. I guess Priya signing the marriage contract has also surprised him just like Ram. There is also some kind of appreciation for Priya's smartness

Omg 🤣🤣🤣 now I want a Shubhu spin-off show!

It seems to be a popular opinion to want Shubhu to become positive and become bhabhi's chamcha. I'm so looking forward to that.

Very accurate remarks about this man, Shubhu is a practical guy who knows how to tell people what they don't like, in this he is delightfully similar to his bhabhi Priya, I really hope that this and more will one day make them a real team that Ram will tease, show others the hard truth, but love them, and yes, damn it, call the doctor on time, do something not always pleasant, but useful, and at the same time be in a brother-sister relationship that brings each other beautifully, but if anything, ready to tear anyone for a brother (sister). This would be the perfect development of Priya and Shubhu's idiosyncratic relationship.

And the fact that he listens to his mother is normal, he just needs to be shown an alternative, Priya is quite capable of doing this.
