Good to see you back in the CC! Kaisi ho?🤗
I m good how you are ?
exactly….doctors don’t operate on their family as they are too emotionally involved,..and may not make objective decisions 🤷🏻♀️…I don’t know why they are insisting on making abhimanyu a super hero and he must take charge everywhere 🤨Originally posted by: austen-eliot
Arrey those OT scenes are sooo cringe, and his unprofessionally insisting that he only will perform his mother's surgery even when his hand was shaking was so stupid.. No experienced dr. is EVER going to do that.. These writers are so ridiculously ignorant of everything except rituals and festivals. Problem kya hai in logon ki, in this age of information the smalleat effort to know any field can give you basic knowledge of it to do a decent portrayal.
Sorry to say this, but HC's voice modulation is really, really bad.. It's very unpleasant to hear and spoils the value of the scenes.
You know these HC fans think yrkkh is now afloat only bcz of him. But I've been thinking, his fanbase that came and connected with this show is just about 1% of the nos.of kaira and og yrkkh fans from Naksh times. So the majority of the viewers are these latter, who had dispersed over the years bcz of the content becoming repetitive but who gathered again for the new generation thinking probably that now there will be some fresh content. That's why the trp soared to 3 and now when they've seen that it's the same old are dropping out again and the trp has also consequently fallen.
I’m doing fine - especially now that I neither watch this show nor do I visit the mothership😎
We’re discussing watching a Pakistani show called Alif in case you’re interested.

Acha hua.. I just don't want those classy Singhanias sharing screen with this lafanga Abhi and his upstart family. Imagine if they show them then definitely they'll also be running after their nawasa damaad and praising him to the skies..how horrible would that be!
@austen, @Snow - I’ve watched one and a half episodes of Alif. It’s definitely interesting, my only issue is the Urdu goes over my head fairly frequently. And of course I’m not able to read the Arabic script - what was Momina leafing through at the end of episode 1?
(The Istanbul skyline along the Bosporus brought back memories of a magical trip )

Subtitles aren't available on youtube, na? Is it too difficult to follow the story bcz of the urdu? It's mostly same as hindi?
Momina is an amateur calligrapher.. She'd written 'Allah, the Mighty and Exalted' and then the name of her fiance, Faisal, and then Momina Faisal in calligraphic script. The Quranic calligraphy forms a kind of canvas for the story, y'know.. I don't know.. it may not be that interesting for you, but the acting, direction and the overall narrative appealed to me very much.
Whatever words or the Arabic which you don't get.. I'm here all the time😛
I clicked the cc button but no subtitles showed up so probably not available. I understood most of episode 1 and I got the gist of things in episode 2 as well, except some words in the conversation between Momin and his grandfather were unfamiliar. I have an assignment to finish tonight, I usually put on a show to help me stay awake. But I turned it off because I think I’ll need to concentrate a bit to keep up. Dare I turn to Jijaji and catch up on Yrkkh instead?? Maybe his rage-inducing antics will keep me alert? 🤣
