Parth - I agree that stage is being set for future Shefali Akshara drama. The comparison was in bad taste. Family dynamics aside, he is supposed to be a this gen guy. He can't step in and step out being a doctor as per your whim and expect his wife to not try to balance her work and family life. She didn't leave when Manjari was in the OT. She said I'll leave after you guys return. His - hum aayenge aur tum chali jaogi - deserves a smack behind his head IMO.

In terms of parallels, the whole point of them is for things to end up correctly for abhira this time! During the tilak, we saw the lights go out and instead of the mix up, this time, we got the kiss moment and them being united. We got the methidana mithai. We got the kangan. During the mandir pooja, we got the rain scene and abhi saving her done in unity. There are way more, but I’m just naming a few! So, this time the fire photo parallel is going to end in shaadi, which was left incomplete last time in my opinion!! Baki all we can do is wait and watch!
Last thing- we are also seeing role reversals in these parallels with akshu taking the lead in many. So, last time, abhi uncovered arohi’s kaands, and this time, it may be akshu. The fire photo parallel could come in that way too!
