1) they totally ruined akt's character, because even in anger he used to have a respect, a presence, on screen that was so powerful -- it never mattered even if he was wrong. i don't think it's just the actor's fault, i think it's the writers' too. it would be a better show if there was a real tashan on equal levels between ari baby (yes i'm calling him that from now on) and aditya.
2) imlie's ignoring of her mother's happiness is so out of character for me. i know she REALIZES that Meethi is happy with this, but she's so focused on the Ts drama and her own trauma (the second of which is valid) that she's not even being her self-sacrificing self for her mother. which is hot nonsense. Day 1 imlie would have married aryan in a heartbeat if her mother told her to.
3) imlie's inability to read behind the lines of arpita's words is also hot garbage to me. they keep referencing the fact that narmada/arpita/aryan have suffered a lot over the past four years since arvind's death, but imlie's inner monologue doesn't seem to reflect understanding that at all. as soon as she realized aryan was willing to frame aditya, she forgot all of his pain and trauma, like in a second, and she's never brought it up again with him or even to herself. again this isn't me criticizing the character or anything, i think it's the writers' lack of nuance here and them continuing to crush the character
4) the dance and the song was the BEST selection omg. because if you understand the lyrics you know it perfectly encapsulates the Arylie relationship.
5) what do you all think Ary's wish is going to be? It won't be that the wedding happens, that's bs, it will probably be, "i hope imlie learns to put herself first, that's all i want." and imlie will wish something along the lines of "i want out of this marriage" which is boring, so i want her to wish, "i want to be able to put myself first, no matter what people force me to do, i want to be able to put myself first." BECAUSE THEN THE WISHES WILL BE BASICALLY THE SAME. and on the day of the wedding Imlie will realize (hopefully because Aryan will give her the video and give her a chance to run), that marrying aryan is putting herself first. I want this to happen instead of a forced wedding not only because i hate the trauma that imlie is going through, but because it sets the scene for imlie slowly understanding aryan and aryan slowly realizing he's in love. then we'll see aryan fall in love first, and then imlie. similar to another show i won't cite here (just gonna say one word: ArShi).
6) I think they really are setting a scene for a Tripathis' exit for the show, what do you all think?

i doubt they're going to exit all the tripathis at once or even half because then they'd have to bring on a ton of new people which is the last possible thing you want to do when your trp is drip dripping away
And then their tashan waley expressions to each other while dancing 😍😂 Loved it! These two are complete entertainment.
