I am reposting here from the daily update thread.

It's just not the LOVE / Togetherness. The serial is ( when it started) about the story of a middle aged woman who is confined to the kitchen of a large family being a cook , maid servant, caretaker, elder caring nurse, mother of three grown up useless children, wife of a egoist /angry/ fit for nothing fellow, permanent punching bag of MIL and Husband who let out their frustration and anger on her. With all these how she was also cheated with EMA of the husband .

It's about HOW THIS LADY at some point of time stand up for herself , comes out of this house and show the world... woman need not suffer at the hands of anybody just because she is married.... but can lead a decent life with her honesty and hard work.... get recognised by the society, get her dignity and respect and live a satisfied ...guiltfree life.

But this show has deviated much... by showing more of the negatives.... tamasha family ... the same environment from which she escaped.

With such a story... the small achievements, baby steps taken by her for herself is going unnoticed.

There are more people who have more shades of Vanraj and Baa in this society than Anuj or samar. This show, by showing more of V and B are actually encouraging such people .... to follow such tactics in real life and make things worse for some DILs in the village /towns/ even in cities. They may get a sadistic pleasure and endorsement that the way they illtreat their DIL are OK.

Instead of a guidance to such suffering ladies and encourage them to stand for themselves... it would have done the opposite... make the life of such suffering DIL worse.

Ofcourse... It's a ITV..... but the theme is strong and if made the right way may create social awareness.

Idk what to say there's so much to say but most of you have said it already, totally agree with Sunny about Anu's silence, sometimes silence is necessary.

About Rakhi Dave toh, how does it feel to embarasss your own daughter every time you come to her sasural. And why is she interested in Anupamaa's life, woh shaadi kare, bacche kare its none of her business. That women takes pride in hurting people and finding entertainment in others miseries, there's nothing more inhuman than that, I wonder how Kinjal is that women's daughter.

Vanraj ki toh aisi ki taisi...khud shaadi karega, khud bacche karne ke baare mein sochega, lekin Anupamaa kare toh usse mirchi lagti hai. Usse aur uski baa ko bas free ki maid chahiye joh unki har baat mankar kone mein khadi rahe.

Baa se toh hamesha se yahin expect kiya tha...she can never let Anupama live in peace. Woh kuch bhi kare baa ko ghrehan lagana hi hota hai. Pata nahi iss family ki aisi kaunsi ijjat hai samajh mein toh Anu ke shaadi se doob jayegi. Agar Anu ki maa bolti toh theek tha yeh ex saas kyun bol rahi hai, unka toh koi haq bhi nahi banta.

Anuj ka stance is baar sahi hai aur accha bhi hai, thay would give her the required push in the correct direction and that would be towards him.

Sometimes we need to take part of the responsibility for our sadness, it is not others who are responsible for our misery, not always. This time Anu should take that responsibility too.

I've been there personally and every waking moment I remind myself to not pity myself and actually make a conscious effort to be happy, I may not be successful every time but atleast whatever situation I am in, I feel good that I'm making an effort to stay happy or give back to whatever threatens my respect. Like few days back we were discussing how kinjal should think twice before bringing a baby in her messed up married life, same mistake was done by my friend. I have lost count how many times she has cried that she is unhappy in her marriage and i have encouraged her to take final decision ensuring that i will support her in every way i can but she has never done it. Then she brought a child into this equation further worsening her condition.

I will always feel bad for her but the fact is she is equally responsible for her situation. She cant put blame on others always.

Same goes for anu, devika, anuj, bapuji, samar, kinjal are all there but ultimately one has to stand up for herself.
