He is selfish. Everything he does is only so he can get praise. If someone doubts his intentions he gets furious. it was pretty evident from his so called sacrifice of

1. Letting the love of his life (less than 1 din wala pyaar ) go

2. Being forced to marry his guru's daughter

3. Becoming proxy husband and foster father to Sahas

He did all this only and only so people can say how selfless and maha aatam he truly is... in reality he is the most selfish human being.
