I loved the episode. Drunk Aru is adorable. Also bhaang ke nashe me hi sahi but at least Imlie was not miserable during Holi. The Aankhon ki Gustakhiyaan and Aayat portion were perfect. Even when he was high Aru did not forcefully color her. Uske ek pout pe banda pighal gaya. Loved Aru acting like a shield once again and protecting her from Hush Husk ka rang and BD BM ka chemical. Didn't like Imlie poking him even when he seemed uncomfortable maybe monday rashes dekh ke she will regret. Absolutely adored the Aru Kurta tussle. He was talking like a small baby. Mann kar raha tha ise kidnap kar lu. All the sharam, lajja, on display when Imlie entered had me🤣
"Tum bhi yaha kapde badalne aayi ho?" Was just way too cute. Main kam se kam teesri baat udhaar to deta hun. My boy looked so proud of that😆. A peek into Imlie's thoughts was a nice touch. Her dosti dhoka comment should make Aru think that good intentions or not, forcing her will be traumatic.
Can't wait to see how Aru goes from undershirt to Ardhnagn on Monday. It looks like he will color her cheeks with his cheeks. I don't want Imlie's face to show hatred in that moment like it did when he was putting ring on her finger. It will kill the moment for me. I want to see some yearning, some shyness and maybe a little hesitation but not rage on her face and I want Aru to proceed only when he sees that she does want it. Later I want both Aru and Imlie to contemplate this whole thing.
I want to see Imlie being moved by the fact that ek baar phir Aru protected her from danger by keeping himself in the middle. The guy who uses himself as her shield, how can he ever use her as a tool or pawn in his game. I want her to question herself. Why did she subconsciously want him to color. Why did the closeness affect her so much. Why does this akadbagga have such an effect on her. Why is she so bothered by his presence, absence.
I want to Aru to remember her words that she feels betrayed. He was ready for her to be angry in this whole situation but now seeing that she feels, helpless, trapped and betrayed he didn't want that. He told himself that main khud chot seh lunga but tumhe nahi tutne dunga and he realises that by forcing this wedding on her he is doing it even though he didn't want to. I also want him to contemplate his feelings then. Mujhe kyun farak padta hai koi use pehle rang lagaaye to, mujhe kyun farak padta hai uski hasi se uski khushi se uske tears se. Isme bohot potential hai and main sirf meethi se kiya waada nibha raha hoon is all bullshit. Why do I want her to accept me, understand me, enjoy this wedding. Why do I want to enjoy this wedding? Obviously Mr Tripathi is not my concern right now so Why am I adamant on this wedding to happen. Why is it important for me to ensure that mere apne, uske apne accept it and accept us and bless us and finally he remembers Arpi's words that yahi pyaar hota hai. (Maybe while he is thinking all this, somebody is watching Mohabbatein in the house and he hears kya yahi pyaar hai song and he starts relating to the lyrics while having flashback of him and Imlie.) His dimaag ka balabwa then gets lighted and he says Shit! I love her.
So wedding waale din. I want Aru to leave her hand and say "Maine pehle bhi kaha tha imli. Raasta dikhaane waale Rasta roka nahi karte. Main bhi tumhe nahi rokunga. Jaana chaahti ho to jao. Lekin ek aur baat yaad hain na meri. Aaj bhi tumhaare paas do raaste hai ek mushkil aur ek galat. Mere saath shaayad aage ka safar aur rasta thora mushkil ho but baad me result sirf happy hoga accha hi hoga because I love you par dusre raaste pe dhokha hi milega kyunki wo for sure galat hai." Imlie realises Aru loves her and she loves and they get married willingly.
