It just felt organic when I was watching the episode.

Priya considers every small act of him (defending her & her family during their engagement when Neeraj was revealed to be her ex, being respectful & loving to her family, giving gifts to her, listening to her pov and taking her side) as him doing a favour to her. His initial acts were due to him being a decent human being, and now it is because of his love and also because he genuinely values & respects her (& her family). But Priya is not in a position to understand that, coz 1) of her past hurt 2) whenever she starts thinking of his acts as more than a favour, the vamps strike 3) Ram’s own statement of his heart being closed for love

This is the reason why they are not in same wavelength. Ram has been open for more even before his realisation, that’s the reason he is able to understand her drawings, while Priya is not ready for that (not her fault) and can’t understand the significance of his clue.

Priya seems more receptive to his flirting in the future episodes, it could be because Ram might have cleared his position about love in his response to her today’s outburst.

Even for a normal woman, it is impossible to move forward when the partner has outrightly told that he is not ready for love. For someone like Priya who is hurt multiple times, it is doubly difficult.
