I don't think that it was much about paid views i mean all of us watched it liked it or not but watched it due to that over the top promotion and so does all the other people..

I think it worked because of online youth viewers who like watching collage love drama of a bad boy and a good girl. It has the charm of the Indian movies in the 90s. The songs were good too. 😃

I feel bad for Haroon though, he looks like a sweet boy, people troll him so much for nothing actually.

Before Ruposh, the most viewed telefilm was Dil tera Hogaya (33 million views) and that telefilm was really cute with Feroze-Zara. But I think, they overpromoted Ruposh and hence it received the views. Kadwani and Qureshi did not throw a huge success party for KAM3 which is the most watched drama, but just because it is their son they are doing such parties and all, if you wnat your son to be another Feroze then it is not happening.

Felt bad for haroon unfortunately his father trying hard to promote him but in result he is getting trolling :(

Dil tera hogiya is one of my favorite telefilm but i guess before ruposh there were few more telefilms which were more viewed than DTH. Haroon's first telefilm has 44M views.

Crossing 100M is not a small thing so success party toh banti hai 🤣. There were more popular and good dramas which were not celebrated unfortunately.
