yaar depends on the vision of director and story writer… YRKKH is a romantic drama … (read drama not comedy) .. also the basic premise is the union of two families via two people bonded via love and marriage … that’s it .. there is no further storyline….
Meet is a romantic comedy drama… Meet is more dedicated to break gender specific stereotypes.. and there is a definite story … apart from how two people who are similar in their ideologies yet so different from each other came together, there is another angle where they helped each other grow … where Meet H helped Meet A to face his insecurities and weaknesses… now its Meet A’s turn to help Meet H in seeking justice for her father …not to mention be her anchor so that she doesn’t lose vision in anger.. yesterday Bike burning is case in point…
Where we saw Meet A being a sensitive person getting so deeply affected from heartbreak and betrayal… (something expected mostly out of females not males .. they are presumed to be sturdy against any human tragedy…) now we are seeing Meet H trying to handle her emotions in case of her father’s murder since its a sensitive matter for her .. her reaction is marred by impatience and anger of not doing enough or not able to do anything… (again something we saw in males not females) .. and we will see how Meet A will guide her and help her sort out her emotions while they navigate through this journey…
so romantic stuff in Meet has taken a back seat …they have lots of emotions to show …
YRKKH with their one-line plotline has nothing else to show … nothing against the show but these are two different genres …
sadly Meet won’t have romantic content of this level atleast not at the moment… but never say never …👍🏼
