Why Angad failed but Virat clicked !

Just saw Nima and damn i see the similarity between Angad and Virat of Udariyan and Nima D.

Both were given same story.

Angad has niece Riya ,her parents died in car accident so she turned bratty. Tejo litrally became her Nanny , they gave beautiful moments in Shimla Infact Tejang was heavily promoted by Channel. Still track did not click with audience

In Nima D Virat too came with a nephew Krish whom he calls his son. The kid lost his speech coz of his parent's accident. Enter Nima as his Nanny . They instantly connect . And yesterday Virat dramatically married Nima for sake of his nephew Krish.

I think something like this was also planned in Udariya for Angad but their TRP kept on dipping. So whole Tejang has been scrapped out.

While in Nima D , Virat and Nima were liked a lot, even brought trp. Infact i am watching Nima now since Iqbaal came.

Character of Virat and Angad are same too. Both are funny and positive. Alas ! Virat clicked with audience while Angad failed.

Their were many things that lead to failure of Tejang track.

• In Nima D Virat has a cunning girlfriend and cranky Mom while Angad had no family at all !
• Nima had completly moved on from her ex husband.They had 20 years of leap! Even though they lived in same neighbourhood as family , her husband remarried and lived miserably. While Tejo just never moved on from Fateh.

Am i missing something . Add on.

The thing is why tejang flopped was because they showed Tejo as a person who was strong and angry w fateh's ema but then after the divorce they just showed her moping, i mean anyone in her place who going by their words was supposed make time for themselves(the scene where she stands in the field w the birds) or find a rebound(angad).

But that didn't happen instead she kept crying for Fateh as though he was out in a war or something.

Another reason why Tejang flopped was because they always showed Angad weird and creepy in precaps whereas he was fine in the episode,i always hated that- i never wanted the third person in Tejo's life to turn out bad.

I feel Nima show audience could accept the kid because -

- Nima herself has kids

- Krish is troubled but unlike Riya is not bratty tbh i liked him and didn't like Riya

I couldn't connect w riya track because even when Angad told Tejo to stay away she kept putting her nose in everything .

Also because Tejo was young i didn't want her going around accepting random bratty kids.

Fateh and Jass i understand if she got betrayed not her fault but after all that how did she trust Angad like that in just a few weeks , went to live at his place, did fake engagement she is poora dare devil.

I shipped them because of their first interaction. They gave the vibe that Angad could be the new hero for Tejo, and btw their scenes were very cute.

Angad seemed to be having the same dreams and motivations as Tejo

Then after one or two weeks, they got fake engaged 🤪 Whose to buy this nonsense?

The problem is writers. Everything happened and ended so fast. At the same time, they're listening to shipper fandoms too much. Believe me, ships never worked for family dramas and Udaariyan is a family drama.

I never watched Nimma , so can't compare myself.

The main problem in this show is not the jodi but the storyline and it's execution as well as inconsistent characters. Be it jasfa, tejang or fatejo. All were badly written and twisted just for ratings.

I won't say that Tejang failed. I myself was not into this ship coz i knew that his role was only a cameo. He was not a parallel lead. Even if he marries tejo , he will die and pave way for fateh later on But never wanted him to be butchered to pave way for the leads

I assumed fatejo will be reunited after a long time. Tejo will have a beautiful journey with angad in the name if friendship first, be strong and move on at least a while.

But the makers were too greedy for the ratings that they rushed into things, turn Angad grey made fateh look better in viewers eyes

But after that did trp increase???

It decreased further.

So??

In that case fatejo reunion didn't go down well with the audience. Now it's 2.0.

What does it show??

Some viewers don't want tejo to return to fateh.

Angad was accepted by the viewers. His entry increased the ratings after diwali function. The first entry scene itself, tejang catch and fall , the twitter was on storm. I don't believe that Angad didn't click well with the audience.

After two betrayals in a row, people wanted a positive entry for tejo after how fateh was butchered badly. So angad did do wonders with the ratings at least his positivity made the trps stagnant.

Where the failure was ??

One

They didn't give him a strong content. Focus was still on three leads. Story was supporting fatejo more. Fatejo offscreen reels were still made to keep them alive

The makers themselves can't decide on rhat pairing.

Two

He came with a baggage. A niece .

People don't want tejo to be a nanny too fast. She's too young.

Three

Kvg looked much older than Priyanka. They should have gotten a younger hot wala like nanit khana or Vikram Chauhan. Even simba would do.

But they need to maintain Ankit the ML hotness and charm . That's why the shipoers are still gaga over fatejo coz they looked 🔥🔥. So they get more for votes

Priyanka looks sweet with him but not that angst hot wala charm that the teenager fandoms drool for

A fact

If tejang was a failure, so is fatejo.proof is in the ratings. 2.5 to 2.0

Right from shimla to moga , it's been two months since angad was sidelined and fatejo indicated as endgame yet ratings soared.

Reason.

Jasmin inserted everywhere.

Where's the fault??

The poor writing yet once again

The college track was the best way to bring them back with tejo giving him a hard time seeking apology. Fateh hitting his head against the walls crying blood tears . Rupi giving hard time.

Drunk fateh pining for tejo creating drama.

Stalks tejo in hilarious ways

Those like me who dislike tejo returning to him would have considered shipping them once again.

But

They had to focus on Jasmin phuski bomb surprise and atrangi shaadi.

Conclusion.

Angad was not a failure. He did click with the Viewers. If only he had been given a good content to support his role , ratings would have done wonders.

Fatejo would have helped the ratings if they were written well.

I have fully moved on. So for me angad already jetted off to London. The only character i liked in the show. The rest I don't care

I don't care if tejo wants to return to fateh.

I don't care if fatejo plays ringa ringa roses again.

I don't care what happens in the show now.

Angad is a history. Kvg will leave someday.

UD is a history for me as well.

What to expect from a sadist pair of makers who are hell bent on giving only heartaches.

For those who ship fatejo, pls move on.

The problem is not fateh but Tejo.

Tejang never flopped. Only other ahippers felt that way as they dislike angad coming in between.

Kvg was gaining popularity. Tejang reels also did wonders. But he was not as hot as ankit. Wahan par mar khageya.

So the delulu teenagers support fatejo.

Kvg sidelined. Still trp soared.

Fatejo is a bigger failure.

At least tejang still maintained trps between 2.5 to 2.7.

So??

Who's a bigger failure.

Angad or fateh??

Agree Tejang started with a bang but fell flat midway.

@bold. Tejang was worst written. They brough a new ML but gave him no good story, no family , no girlfreind. Forget all that they kept him positive but gaves misleading precaps.

Tejang was a great ship and could have sailed like Virat Nima, if only had they given Angad the typical TRP story.

I am not comparing the shows as not watching UD anymore n never watched Nima except the promos I caught here n there..

For UD it was makers n writing sank the ship.. I was a TejAng shipper cz I wanted Tejo to move on..instead she became mahaan.. I forgot that this is itv not real life. Fatejo is the endgame we all knew. But for Angad mainly the plot writing sucked. They experimented with the back story n it fell flat n redeemed fattu in a week. N I moved on instead of Tejo.

If they have shown TejAng n then Angad dies after uniting fatejo after a year or so rather than making him psycho 🤪

The character didn’t fail here the creators failed that too a big time. No one wants a rinse repeat n stale stuff hence the numbers suffered..

The fact is the character is being blamed not how he is written.

He was the bridge to unite the leads. That's all. He was only for short term.

But the leads lost their charm for some and their votes counted. Ratings soared

He was sidelined and given less ss. More focus on family drama and the three leads . Still ratings soared . They didn't expect that. They thought the triangle was their trp fetcher. People are bored with them .

So they brought him back whitewashing him hoping to gain back the lost tejang shippers and his fans but still didn't work.

All ran away never to return 😁😁 like us.

Myself these days only come here when tagged. Or when a member dm me .

Otherwise not keen. But today thought of making a post of him. He deserves another token for being bashed . At least people still talk about him whether good or bad. He is still famous 😁😁
