Honestly all the side characters in this show are poorly etched. They have no separate arc. They are basically there to create toxic drama and never anything constructive. And their separate scenes have no value. Like if Sai or Virat aren't in the scene it cannot be watched. Recently if its Virat and Chavannis alone also. I skip. It was too much. And theres no real connection between Sai n them or Virat n them. Shruti track aftermath has ruined the beauty of Sai's bond with Ashwini, ninad, sam, Mohit, devi and shivani. She had a dustinct chemistry with each of them. Plus she has a unique sarcasm/taang khichai vaala equation with bk omi, sonali too. But Jeeva Shiva bromance is BS. Theres no chemistry. Virat mohit are blah ...never have they had a good scene together. Virat Devi also dont have chemistry. Virat Aai in bits n pieces was really good but they tend to overact or forget to show a good mom-son scene n Virat-Ninad or Virat with bk or oni/sonali is just a formality.

The only bond of the show thats actually a little bit unscathed is Sai-pullu. He has been a constant support. Even if he gives counsel thats not amazing atleast hes soft spoken, nice to Sai and wants her to be happy. He just doesn't have the spine to consistently speak up. But at least hes there in her corner. But he does often disappears in key moments or is too focused on himself and cannot get his own wife to behave and cannot cure her nautanki and badtameezi rather than mental illness. No progression in that story either.

Yes agreed , the GC track was a beauty .. the way they flirted in award ceremony .. even when he locks her in safe house

In KD also it was there .. emon had started feeling for Rono .. and he had accused her of luring Gogna as well as try to trap him by coming to meet him late at night

The sexual vibes had begun in KD .. which her father was aware off . It toned down a bit around marriage ..

immediately after shadi it was a bit wierd ..

But after accident .. Rono was super good .. he’s good in romantic scenes .. , flirty ones ..he knew how to get emon to cling to him ..and he used to do that aram se ..

What I don’t like about virat he treats Sai as some goddess .. you are so clever.. when he’s pleased with her

Rono treated emon as a woman .. teased her about her scholarship, about her wanting to study all the time … of her being a nerd not understanding romantic vibes .

You said it .. they should try improving the screen play in the family roles .. or phase them out abd bring new characters ..

Atleast that cannot be controlled by other actors

her relationship with her elder sister had so much flesh .. cameraderie , need tk look out for each other , love us there

This has failed BiG time in ghum.. the cast is busy showing bonding in reels but it is totally missing in screen play .

They should look at all the shows in star plus , aunty show , tamarind even pandya store to know how family interacts with each other .
