My only grudge with this scene is the direction, positioning of hug... because they are of almost same height, the hug looks weird/awkward... Ayesha has to bend oddly and Neil has to lean back too much to accommodate her head.

I wish they had taken a different approach/camera angle or something.

this scene shows clearly that from virat’s point of view he made a huge sacrifice for her… to suppress his feelings just to be tied to her in some form.
I think his current outburst has roots in this ‘sacrifice’. He is in self pity mode too that he has sacrificed his love for her to be just her friend and she still misunderstood him. The anger that comes out of his own self pity can take form of arrogance. It is like showing her ‘see I have done this big sacrifice for you and you don’t even deserve it’ 😜

Virat is emotional so his logical judgement clouds and pushes him into self pity and vindictive mode. Sai is driven logically so she accepts apology easily too, when she makes logical connections. Problem with her is she expects logical and clear answers from virat which he is incapable of giving 🤪

I had problems with camera angles in that particular scene ..Although it was my favorite mimo scene.. Neil gave apt expression but right camera angle and monologues would have elevated the scene..

If your judgement about him is correct makers should be able to bring out that through script and directions.. Now his character is coming across cruel to the core.. That's why shruti track was a flop and boring due to lackluster writing..

I don’t understand the need of adding her in any family crowd .. KD only in crucial moments .. the whole family used to be there .. in morning breakfast drama 3-4 ladies plus Rono dad ..

Why add so many people . What extra benefit does omi , Sonali plus Karishma.. there sarcastic drama is repetitive

If only Sonali is there to tag with Kaku ..she gets more flesh and can try new nuances ..

then scenes with ninad , omi can tag ..

The Chavan family standing in line wearing same color look comical ..

now in holi all will be decked in white ..

Right now Shivani , mohit n karishma have no importance in story they should be phased out .

If anything sunny should be brought in .. some tracks can be shown around him

Yeah cus they have omitted many important characters from KD, changed dynamics which messed up the storyline so they forcefully have Devyani down our throats. Like making Sunny a complete outsider made him an insignificant character whose voice has no weightage on CN ppl. You see there was a reason why Leena wrote the relationship character dynamics the way they were in KD. In Ghum there's a clear power imbalance cus of dynamics, here they've made a huge blunder by making BK the matriarch. You see why pro Imon ppl held so much power in KD cus all were elderly figure.

Ghum is a cheap downgraded spoof parody. Can't even call it a bad remake. The way they all stand in line with new formation every episode just to come forward one by one in line to mouth their dialogues which they say in every episode.

Pretty much entire cast except Ayesha has such a disgusting tapori hooligans type body language on-screen. The casting has been awful. They didn't even get a single thing right. What made them cast that Omi actor who looks like Ninad's son? In KD Gabu & Habu had such a good camaraderie also they looked like brothers, of same age. The only good thing to come out of the show was Sai's character in first few months...

But they brought in madhuparna..

Shramanjit told Rono many times your wife is not only beautiful but she’s too talented and intelligent

During the kidnapping track even Ronno's mom said she's always worried when imon goes out cus she's so beautiful & young and talented, good in academics.

I know it is completely my interpretation of psychology. From what I understand of human behavior. That’s why writers have good material to show the depths of emotions with good writing . But they are not which shows so much disconnect. That’s where people get disappointed.

This was a start of a beautiful bond. Something husband wife relationship should be.

The makers would be fools if they don't bring this back after the patchup.

The only good thing in ghum is Ayesha actually her personality just reflects on screen.. I like yogi too but they turned him idiot.. What's with him going always physical every damn time..

Makers did not understand what is the actual story.. That's why anupama is the winner where as sreemoyee was crass in every level except indrani haldar..

That dream SaiRat dance was disgusting.. Neil was giving creepy expressions as if jagtap was dancing with Sai.. He was giving that "kha jau mai tujhe" look.. Ewww🤢

I dont think Sai is more childish than Emon. I think Emon was more brash but Chavannis of KD were actually more mild and eventually more familial compared to Ghkkpm. Infact i think Sai is a lot more emotional, perceptive and forgiving than Emon.

But Rono-Emon had more passion, more intimacy than Sairat.

They cut a lot of scenes of KD or diluted it in Ghkkpm.

When V returns after his accident, Sai rubbing his head and giving him a massage was a long intimate scene in KD. She is literally lying near him, spooning him almost and very intimately fingering his hair and massaging his head.

In KD during anniversary hotel thing, instead of lizard they had a scary story of bhooth but they made Emon literally cuddle with Rono and sleep in his arms.

In ghkkpm we only got a few platonic hugs and a forehead kiss and a cheek kiss once when Sai was asleep and the other scenes of head massage and holding hand to sleep after getting scared lacked the same intimacy that KD brought.

By the time Shruti happened in KD, emon rono had confessed and consummated their marriage which was also shown. They were very intimate so their fights about Shruti were full of raw passion. Plus because of their intimacy you actually do feel for Rono because Emon doubted his fidelity despite them being in a conjugal relationship. Not that Emon was fully wrong because he did keep things and lie and do a lot of unecessary things but their relationship was deeper, more intimate.

Here Sai doesn't even have confirmation if V's feelings for her are actually love or not....she hopes so. But she doesn't know.

Sai is a much better version of Emon imo.

The main reason touchy scenes of ML & 3rd angles were unnecessary put people off cus zero intimacy between leads, ML visibly maintaining a respectable distance with FL in every type of scenes got on ppls nerves. It became glaringly obvious in Shruti track when ML had more proximity than FL, his personal issues with FL is ruining on-screen so it frustrates viewers. Had someone else played Virat things wouldn't have been so bad as it is now. The main reason I've hate for Mr. Blue Butt than Virat cus it's obvious who's being unprofessional. Touchy scenes with 3rd angles isn't something new on TV or movies but people won't tolerate when ML comes across more comfortable & shares more proximity with 3rd angles than his own FL on-screen. It's him who has ruined Virat to this extent also SaiRat. It was systematically done. That's why I want him replaced as Virat or a new ML opposite Ayesha.. we all are here to see good things, we wouldn't want to see social distancing between leads be it fights or romance, ML resisting physical contact with FL as much as he could.

He just can't do sensuous. Infact Ghum team is too incompetent to show sensuous romance. The actors don't have it in them. Plus Ayesha's face is too babyish. She might suit it later when she ages a bit not now. Neil is a lost case.

Is show mein sari creativity touchy scenes mein dekhne ko mile hai b/w ml & 3rd angles. Only show where they've better scenes more comfort proximity than with the FL thanks to the ghatiya unprofessional actor. Will never forgive him for ruining Ayesha's first hit show & pair 😡

I feel their best hug was after the skit. Their first hug. It was so tight & both were into it. Plus Ayesha didn't have to bend so it came out really well. But they had to ruin it by making Virat hold Pakhi's hand & that iconic KKHH moment
