Namaste,

Pandya Store is a story of the Pandya's, their struggles and their pursuit of happiness being in a joint family consisting a handicapped mother, her 4 sons and their better halves where the eldest son and daughter-in-law sacrifice their own happiness to raise the younger siblings and re-claim their store which is also their pride and only source of income.

Having almost raised her husband's younger brothers like a mother and toiled for the family, Dhara has earned herself the respect and decision making role and rightfully so.

Complications set in with the arrival of Rishita and Ravi, the better halves of Dev and Shiva as they try to fit into the family.

The story is based on the various struggles and success of a joint family.

Views based on the track so far:

1. Shiva is shown as a very good-hearted soul, although he is rugged, rude. However, there has been no redemption of his character assasination of Ravi. The fact that his mother unconditionally pardons him and instead puts the blame on Ravi is unfathomable. Shiva's violent streaks regardless of gender is another thing that needs to be addressed.

Shiv-Parvati are worshipped for their mutual respect inspite of their powers.

2. Dhara has done a lot to keep the family together, no questions about it. As mentioned in the show as well, she is at the same stage where Suman was 10 years ago. It will be tough but she needs to loosen up, let go and accept the changes. Afterall, it is not Rishita or Ravi's fault either. Each couple has to build their relation on their own. Infact, they both have always backed the family and stood by them exhibiting how capable they are.

She has established herself as an efficient and ideal woman but now, Rishita and Ravi will have to tread their own path, take their own decisions. Her trying to be the lone warrior on ALL fronts is doing none any good. Just as she expects to be involved in decisions, so should the others.

This hiding business is fair to none, Gautam included.

3. Gautam dividing finances at this point was unnecessary and digressing the main issue. The issue was not involving them in their fight and making them feel part of the family, instead he is creating the fault lines and making them drift apart, putting the blame indirectly on Rishita and Ravi. One would wonder who needs to grow up.

The biggest problem of pandya family is that they hide things from each other and lack communication.just superficial yadon ki baraat hugs and brushing the main issue under the rug.

Your last point is intersting and I do agree, though gombi dividing finances is a welcome step but the timing is not right.he should have done it earlier when Rishita had raised the issue.

The hurt of rishita and raavi is not at all related to money now.they feel emotionally isolated, not financially.so by taking this step now he is trivialising their emotions and their husbands can also take it the wrong way that biwiyo ke aane ke baad bhaiyo mai darar aa gayi.

I hope this is not rushed and there is a build up to why Gombi is doing so and he explains his brothers calmly that this is necessary as they are married now and taking care of their wives finances is their responsibility and not his or dhara's.shiva and dev should understand that they have to include their partners and take them into confidence before doing kaands.

I am looking forward to this track and finding it intersting because frankly the sab accha hai, sab ek dusre se pyaar karte hai, kabhi naraz nahi hote, kabhi koi issue nahi hota is pretty unreal.joint families have clashes and at the end of the day they come out stronger as they are a family who love and care for each other.i hope we get character growth of dhara in this track who should realise that she is not the sole decision maker of the house.rishita should put forward her points with sensitivity and not rudely.raavi should pay more attention to her married life and shiva.

Bang on!

Yes, dividing finances should have happened as a natural transition post wedding not on request or demand.

Yes, Rishita's points are ALL valid but the lack of sensitivity diverts her intentions.

Regarding Ravi, I want to see Shiva's sensitivity and contribution towards their relation. Ravi has done enough and borne insults wing to his own complexes. More than that, I want someone to knock some sense into Suman for blindly supporting Shiva.

Ugh...So I quit watching because I got so tired of Shiva's manhandling of Raavi (maybe a month before character assasination). From what I have verrry verrry briefly scene of them- it seems that they have addressed that or I don't see that from the little that I actually do watch (correct me if I'm wrong).

Seeing their entire relationship especially during that time was awful!!! Can't believe they ruined such a beautiful couple! Ughh!

He has pretty completely stopped it. They didn't have a conversation or anything about it, but Raavi's always called him out on it either way. And he just STOPPED, at some point. These days, he's very gentle with her physically....

There was this once during the Disha track that he pushed her on the bed, but that was a very controlled action, and because she was throwing a rose bouquet at him.

Here is my take on the character of the middle Pandya brother, Shiva Pandya.

Not sure if it is the writing or the way it is portrayed. The character sketch seems like its gone wrong.

There is exaggeration in his aggression. He also has no control on his emotions.

These could also be because the women (his mother and bhabhi) in his life have always only seen him to be right and everyone else being wrong. The only woman who calls out his shortcomings with an intention to make him a better human, Raavi, finds no support in the household. Why else would Suman not punish him for publicly insulting a woman, his wife at that. Instead she has always been accusing Raavi of belittling her son, Shiva of a complex and misunderstanding her love for Dev, conveniently forgetting it was Dev who was at fault of hiding his love for Rishita even till the point of wedding.

Everyone is bent on justifying Shiva's actions under the garb of his innocence and good intentions which in my opinion is not right.

Him telling that "he is trying very hard on his relation" is laughable. Exactly what did he try? The surprise on NYE which he himself ruined?

Everyone needs to truthfully introspect why they truly wish for Raavi to be in the Pandya household.

In my opinion, they have screwed up big time on the character of ShivaPandya. Anger, sacrifice, dedication is just not represented well.

Controlled or uncontrolled aggression, in a relationship respect comes first, one's aggression cannot beat that.

The point is, none is trying to correct him and him a mirror.

Ok, forget everything, what is his contribution to building their relation?

Truly, Raavi's contribution to the household amd relations is unrealistically huge.

Again, why do each of the family members want Raavi to be in their house.
