Narmada waves her hands in front of Imlie, and asks, "where are you lost to? You sit down and eat, Imlie."
Imlie composes herself and says, "oh nothing."
Aryan raises an eyebrow at her. He knows she was staring 🤭
Imlie narrows her eyes and says, "Maa why do you let Aryan wear such formal clothes all the time? He doesn't even have to go to work today. He looks so weird."
Aryan asks, "You think my clothes, my clothes worth thousands, are weird?"
Imlie, a consummate Kajol fan says, "Tumhe woh kahawat yaad hai, Lucknow da kurta Patani salwar, tab lage mard warna lage bekar."
Arpita and Narmada start laughing and so does Imlie.
Aryan: I'm trying to do work here and you're quoting Kabhi Khush Kabhi Ghum to me?
Imlie laughs more and then stops, "Ek minute, you've seen that movie?"
Aryan rolls his eyes, "Haan. Main iss desh main hi paida hua tha. Of course ive seen that movie."
Arpita adds, "Imlie, you don't even know, jab woh movie release hua tha na, tho Aryan ka pehla crush Kajol hi tha. That's why he thought your Simran costume was so cute." Arpita trails off seeing Aryan's angry face.
Imlie mocks understanding, "accha, so ABP has one thing in this world he likes. Kajol Ji."
She brings over a bell and thaali, and starts ringing it around his head, singing as she does.
Aryan backs off shocked by the sound and her closeness, "Yeh kya kar rahi ho?"
Imlie, imitating Kajol from K3G, "nazar uthar rahi hoon."
Aryan immediately replies, "Arre kiski nazar—" and then he stops.
Narmada and Arpita and Imlie burst out laughing.
Aryan is still grumpy but he has to fight back a laugh.
Imlie finally stops laughing and says, "Accha aap kya kahenge—"
Aryan stops her, grumpy, "Aap nahi, tum kaho. apna lagta hai." He stands up and smiles while he says it, close to her face.
Arpita and Narmada gasp and ooh.
Aryan grabs his coffee and walks away. Leaving Imlie dumbstruck.
