Lemme give an example. Long ago during amey kaand, there was a Sairat fight in ZA. Watch that scene and see his expression when he sees Sai-Devi interaction, watch his expression when Sai is pranking Karishma and trapping her. Later when Sai runs away to Amey in car and talks about the money she has, he has a priud smile/cum smirk to see her plan n amey falling. He looks irritated without overtly being so when ninad says something stupid. He shows his emotions with no dialogues - they are subtle- blink n miss types but its there- and now I see nothing. Absolutely nothing.

Arre, Amey's fight cannot be compared at all. In fact, that was one of the best family drama scenes I have seen with all of them so interactive with their expressions. It was fabulous.

And Neil was too notch in those scenes. If i watch them by chance on Insta, I can't believe its the same actor.

That has changed definitely..this track is supposed to be super intense for Sairat. That I have not seen yet. And sadly, we may not get the intensity.

Ya my point is when things were so nascent he was so good in displaying multiple emotions. Now when there is scope as an actor for him to show so many more emotions, hes so blank. No longing, no tadap, no nostalgia, no dilemma no love. He may be much more angry/hurt than then, but hes also "in love" right.....he could have shown a softness to see sai rushing to ninad to give water, minor amusement at her sarcastic comebacks to people, some pain to see how she is called manhoos etc...but he is like a wall. Does he really love her?! 🙄😥

Yes his expressions making me hate both Sai and virat..

Sai might be putting brave front but for whom.. He shows no emotions no longings in his eyes..

Totally! The reason why ML is criticised so much for his acting is because we have some prior work to compare it with. So many times there has been comments on his acting and “nuances” during GC days and much later too. Dialogues, screenplay may have derailed, but so has his acting. He is not even able to emote basic feelings now, the complex ones are a far cry. All his expressions look more like someone who is bored and is forced to just stand there and recite the mugged up dialogues. Hence the nuances have been replaced by nuisance. It has become so difficult to watch him on screen just like PL.

He shows multiple emotions at the same time with no dialogues - they are subtle- blink n miss types but its there- and now I see nothing. Absolutely nothing. Even then his predominant mood was anger and annoyance and even hurt at Sai's behavior but we saw so many emotions. Now nothing! Isnt he in love with her?! Shouldn't he emote more now than he used to before ..

Most of the times i can't even get who he's staring at in the scene.

Kuch bhi had se zyada ho toh accha nehi hota. Makers of the show have always gone too overboard in making Virat being terrible with Sai. They most probably will use their Trump card for Sai's accident or sth for Virat to change for TRPs, they're looking for it jump at TRPs & replicate what happened in Sai's second accident track which got them highest ratings. Mujhe toh yehi lag raha hai hoga...

It’s so aggravating to watch such content on national TV. Why did I bother watching the clips today 🤦‍♀️

1. Sai Virat Chavan - What does it even mean? Does Kamal Joshi not hold a value or is inferior in any terms? Is changing the last name a means to prove that one accepts a marriage? Name is an identity not a tag of ownership. Its a choice, provided it is taken up with the right sense and not as a label.
2. Main is baar bhi mana lungi - When was she fully accepted? When did they stop abusing or discriminating. The people who she thought were on her side actually abandoned her. Worse they have started accusing her. She was wrong but how is she more wrong than any of the other Chavans/Salunkes. What is the logic? And she wants acceptance from such people?
3. Apology- Apology is apology. All that matters is how heart felt it is. Weighing it in terms of number of words, or its extravagance and to what extent the prolific words and actions take course is not the right measurement. That actually says one is testing the person and not trusting the person. So Virat doesn’t trust Sai! What does he want from her? Run around him like a tail, bow down to his demands like a servant, with no self respect, and worship him like god?

4. V’s act - I feel he is observing. But even then this behaviour is unacceptable. He has refrained from making any comments on the tussle between Sai and his family. He may be hurt, hence be upset with her but if he loves her he can’t be taking a revenge on her. Keeping a track of all her actions and words in the past and striking them across in a ledger is not a sign of true love. It sounds more like business. If its tit for tat he should remember the number of times he has wronged her and how she forgave him and came back to him so easily.

5. Mere dil mein jagah banane ki sochna bhi mat - He turned away from her. He knew he has hurt her with his words and couldn’t face her. I felt that, but then again I feel ML failed to express it. It was too bland (if he was feeling bad for hurting her).

6. Tum Pakhi ko kyon beech mein la rahi ho - This one got me thinking and kind of gave him away. This was his only dialogue in his entire conversation with her lately that was out of place in his repetitive “Mera tumse koi rishta nahi hai” and its synonyms and his sullen monotonous expression. It pinched him that she still holds Pakhi as a third angle and he can’t take it. If he doesn’t consider her as his wife, why does it bother him what Sai thinks about Pakhi’s place in their relationship?

7. Ninad coughing - V’s mask dropped as he got concerned. Why is it not slipping for Sai? Is he being extra cautious? Or like we all know, she needs to be in a life threatening situation for him to melt/react.
8. The family - Is a bunch of hypocrite pests. Most of them know about Pakhi’s intentions and they are themselves encouraging her to go close to V and in the presence of her husband who is a mute spectator while his wife lusts over his brother. Which family pampers and encourages and holds a woman with such disgusting behaviour in high regards and above everyone and call her the most virtuous. I seriously want to understand their definition of that word “Sanskari”🤯

PS - Can someone ask Vankar what his take is on feminism, women’s stature in society. And then what he thinks about his portrayal of women in this show. I want to see this man’s hypocrisy

Watching Ghum makes me feel like we are living in stone age... Even my great grand mother was more progressive than Sai's.. Accepting your husband doesn't mean accepting his abuses.. He is not flawed but a jerk.. He shared illicit relationship with Pakhi who is his brothers wife then with friends wife..

I'm more angry with Sai baI who is apologising for the things she hasn't done.. 🤢She is fierce in the surface but lost self worth.. KJ did not brought her up like this..

Ashwini and Samrat both are biggest hypocrite IN cn.. They both used Sai for their own sadistic pleasure..Ashwini used mother cards to use Sai against the family and her husband.. Samrat used Sai because his wife and Virat apparently having EMA🤢

But I don't understand how a mother's love can change according to her convenience. If it was a reverse situation she would not even let virat near Sai..

Now coming to Neil.. I'm clueless is it creative call the way he acts.. There were multiple times he forgot his own character name..

He just can't portray complex emotions.. Fans are complaining he mixes reel and real..then why on earth he is letting these people point out on that.. I'm just sick and tired of his medicore performance..

If HIS contract is ending please can we get a need already that there will be a new hero.. I can watch the crap for sometimes. .its getting hard to put up with him

One of the problem with the current track is that after ousting, if he was shown making efforts to win over Sai even couple of times except for trying to call her before his mission, no one would have questioned what Sai is doing to win over angry Virat now.

Virat makes grand gestures only when things are good. He has always ill treated her when angry, so not one person showed him how Sai has forgiven many times in his past despite what he had done so he should atleast give a thought. He can always tell her, I forgive you, but it is too difficult to be your friend and can't never be you husband. Please move on or let me move on.

Family is horrible, am sure Sai will be scolded for misbehaving with Pakhi in tmrw episode and possibly Virat will stop Sai from serving him. Family will tell her to manage her own food and can't stand here like a beggar asking for food and nor will she be allowed to use their kitchen. Virat will then say he won't eat with them from next meal onwards. They will be forced to let Sai use their kitchen to feed her husband coz only she can make him eat home cooked food . Family is heartless. Just to show they are with Virat, they are being horrible to her.

We are supposed to assume Virat is ignoring her in anger, which is better than him ill treating her like in past. This is the ignoring which he was going to do after anniversary rejection Sai is yet to apologize for.

Acting good or bad, nuance or nuisance doesn't matter to daily TV show audience. They will just look at each track and fortunately for the makers people are addicted to the journey of Sairat as well as this shitty family. There are other 8 pm shows with better acting and logic, still people line up for Ghum.
