Adi is to blame for Imlie's eventual capitulation. When she first realised Aryan was behind Adi's false charges Imlie was feisty and fiery and vowing to prove Aditya innocent. I can't say with absolute certainty that she would have been able to prove him innocent but she would certainly have died trying at least. I imagine if Adi had been strong and faced the charges and reporters with some level of conviction and strength Imlie would have happily stood by his side and fought with him, certainly not giving in to Aryan. But then Adi went and got shit faced and showed his pathetic side to the whole world which filtered down to the rest of his family. Just how pitiful they were is what broke Imlie, forcing her to eventually capitulate to Aryan's demand.

EXACTLY! my sympathy for Imlie is extremely limited.

I'm busy today but stealing a few minutes here and there to try and catch up. I'm still so far behind but am trying.
