Oh for sure, he knows he's in love. He's also not admitting it I think because shit is messy enough as is. In fact, I think Aryan is more self aware than Anuj too, but that's not a discussion for this space.

I love that we don't have Aryan being in denial of his feelings because I don't think that would have made sense. Usually we have MLs have relationship-related trauma either due to bad breakups or seeing bad marriages in the family. Aryan doesn't have that baggage, he was a happy go lucky dude with a charmed life till Arvind died, and he's seen good marriages in the family, so he's not fighting it and turning into a raging bull in a china shop just because he has a case of the feels.

Cuz in the precap when she is all decked up I was confused as to how she got to that point. Kahin Adi ne wahi par Aryan ko sindoor aur mangalsutr phenano ko nahi bol diya....that would be super awkward.

So her somehow hiding the sindoor and mangalsutr then showing it makes more sense to me.

Ooooh just realizing another contrast will now show up for Imlie. Baby doll came into Arus life 4 years ago (maybe 4 years of phrendship even tho it doesnt look like that) with the purpose of marriage, but instead of Aryan hiding the fact that he is married he will announce it and handle the situation way better...unlike some other parallels we've had.

You know, I think somewhere deep down even Imlie is aware that Aryan is just looking out for her.. It is just that right now Imlie ke aankhon ke saamne yeh parda hai kii Aryan is using her..And that is why she is hurt and not seeing things clearly for what they are..But in her heart somewhere she is aware of it and also of Aryan's goodness...Bas ek barr Imlie halts and thinks calmly, she will understand what Aryan is really up to and what he is really trying to achieve..

i'll tell you something, apart from the bad relationship of my close relative i read a few fictions about SS recovery, i've read that trope different contexts both romanticization and reversal

it helps me put the show in context more.
