In Bepannah and Humsafars, he definitely wore gemstone rings (one purple and one green). But in YRKKH, he wears like these thick silver bands (can't remember if they have a gemstone)...

So can I score gemstone rings as gifts from my relatives in India by saying they will fix all my bigde kaam?? Hmm...🤔

I didn't notice his ring, but if he wears gemstone rings, then it is a religious practice. Some Hindus believe in astrology, so they wear these rings.

bigde kaam banaane ke liye..😃

I envy people with a green thumb like Snow and you.

I would end up killing my plants by forgetting to water them so I stay away from them. But I would love to get some plants when I grow older (not physically but mentally)

Have you seen the BBC miniseries based on the books? The guy playing Cormoran is interesting - he's not at all conventionally good looking but he's very charismatic not to mention serious and brooding😆

(Roch - you'd like the series as well, I suspect)

Listen, I'm a simple girl. Jisse simple cheeze, hindi language aur Zomato dilevery khaana pasand hai 🤣

I cannot grasp all the analysis you all do. I'm ngl. And books, or movies, I have attention deficiency so if it doesn't interest me in the first chapter or first ten fifteen minutes, I'm out

Oh. I have killed enough plants when I started gardening. Because like you said I forgot to take care of them. But pretty much every thing I planted grew well. One of my favorite earth star plant was eaten by my dog. 😡

I also love gardening because it's my bonding activity with my mom. 😍

Hey Austen - there was some talk a while back about picking some old Hindi movies for us all to watch.

I'm on the 'Abhimaan' soundtrack section of my dad's music collection and I've never seen the movie. I heard it's a remake of A Star is Born and is a classic. The songs are beautiful.

Any interest in watching/discussing? Have any of you seen it already?

I'd love to watch! Actually all these songs evoke such sweet nostalgia..these bollywood songs and movies are like a connective chain between generations..I remember my mom and aunts discussing all these from their youth and childhood and also what was loved by their elders.. So I always meant to watch these movies but y'know it's not easy watching that age cinematography.. I've seen the classics.. Mughal-e-Azam, Mere Mehboob, Chaudvi ka Chand, Sholay, Pakeezah.. All have beautiful songs..

So let's watch! I also want to see Anamika..
