He is going through whole ordeal just for Her, he come across as adamant idiot , but he is not he will lay down to make a clear path for his loved one . Mother ,sister and now imlie.

He keeps talking about revenge , a revenge that wouldn't even profit him but it will evenge his late BIL whose name was tarnished because of a certain journalist who couldn't have checked the facts before misusing his kalam .

Imlie is that part of him ,where he couldn't differentiate her from him . She is a part of HIS soul now. While imlie was going all my family dukh peedha. All he could make out was where would this sacrifice leave imlie . It was just her on his mind .

His love is so pure . If comes a time where he thinks he is the hurdle in her path he will gladly destroy himself just for her to soar high .❤️

Checked out the link..and it's surprising how you were spot on and everything is being played out. The intoxication, his persistence in finding her...I have always found that thing admirable in Aryan. Once target is locked in his head, the guy will go to all extremes. People find it intrusive. It's a fine balance. The thing is he isn't the one getting anything out of it..(in the long run, we know what's gonna happen)..he has zero expectations..and don't want any gratitude too.

Ok..this won't happen..but no harm in wishing.. just wishing, not expecting😆..that Aryan himself shares whatever conditions of the shaadi to Narmada (or Arpita). And then Narmada scolding him...and actually giving Imlie not choice,but full freedom (no strings attachef) to leave and live her own life. Clear contrast between the two MILs..Imlie is stunned..but chooses to stay.

Just like I envisioned him in Full Circle. He wants her to soar and if that meant being away from her for years, then that's what he'd do. Space and freedom. That is what he wants for her. ❤️

(Mene aise similar scene ek regional movie mein dekhi thi jahan FL apne aap ko aag laga deti hai taaki uske husband ko jo ek guilt tha apne late GF ko na bacha pane ka woh khatam hogaya.)
