Nominations were based on votes… so May be that’s why she wasn’t nominated. Also, she is content and a little laid back too.. does not go overboard with seeking support. Observed this in one of their joint interviews before the show started.

This can be a contributing factor too. Assuming NM has a lot of enthusiastic young fans who make sure they support their favourite stars.

Usually, subtle performances are difficult to judge or appreciate, where as these are the ones that require the most restraint. ITV audiences like the OTT, heavily decked up FL’s who eat lipstick and shed litres of glycerine. Characters like Priya who are simple are usually deemed to be easier to perform and do not get the deserved appreciation.
They should have a critics category to make sure such performances and actors get the accolades they deserve.

For me Disha is the best actor in this series and for that matter whatever little I have watched in ITV she is by far the best. Both the leads complement each other every well and are essaying the characters really well. Thats’s the reason they weave magic when they are together in a scene, even carry off the poor writing, for anyone else the show would have been unbearable.

If he is spending some part of his time, money, brain & heart in solving the life problems of his ex without the knowledge of his wife - double whammy here being, wife doesnt know she is ex, wife doesnt know he is spending time with her - that counts as being unfaithful.

It's the war between logic and emotions. Priya's past experiences and logic is telling her not develop feelings for this man. Not to become attached to him, after all he is also a man! But Pri's also starts to like Ram's presence, his jokes, his childlike energy, his innocence, his care for her. So she is reassuring herself that this man is not like MS, her past experience! But different!
