This reminded me of a scene when same thing happened with vanraj. Anuj has made an grand entry and become hero overnight for anu and other sensible shahs by saving samar. That day vanraj was comparing himself with anuj, wondering whether he is still handsome or not.

So this scene with anuj comparing hinself to ravanraj is totally pathetic, downright cringe. Vanraj was insecure, unreasonable, garbage kind of guy but anuj is always shown as secure, confident man.

What are makers implying by showing such scenes that anuj has fallen to the level of vanraj.
