I used to get fed up with the way kaira's love story used to be the reason for existence for all the members of the two families, Singanias and Goenkas as if there were never any two people in love before since time..and that was when their story had atleast some substance..but with these jokers, hai hi kiya inki story mein?

There's some Hindi movie I saw a couple years ago that used "Lag ja gale" as the love theme for the two leads and in the end, the guy sings it while he's left to die in some catastrophe and the girl is being rescued (can't remember - an earthquake or flood or something).

Do we think that Abhira also having this song as their love theme is foreshadowing a bad end for these two?

The stupid writers have given a bad end to all the stories since first gen.with the previous ones most of us had an emptional connect but these two.. bhaad mein jayen, no worries..

I'm watching this great British miniseries now "North and South" based on the novel by Elizabeth Gaskell. The lead couple have so much chemistry and it starts with total tashan between them. Plus like the novel there's a whole socioeconomic subtext about unionization and the industrial revolution and how it affected mining and other industries. Oh and there's also a stern saasu-maa😆

It has all the elements of a high level ITV soap and then some - but so good!🤣

Anyone else seen this?

Read the book too..quite good but the series was even better I think and this is very rare that I like a screen adaptation more than the book.

He's just ❤️ in North and South, isn't he? Margaret is perfect too, she really looks like she belongs in that time period. All the parts are so well-acted. I love the saasu maa and Higgins too.

I'm still on part 3 so no kissing yet (well he kissed her hand at the party😆) but I'm looking forward to it!! I'll come back and give my views once I get to that part

The book was not the easiest to read in certain parts as I recall. The series flows very well.

The question is whether Akshu will also fall off a cliff like her mummy and nanny... Or maybe since this season is more male lead-centric, Abhimanyu might be the one to go thin-air diving. He likes to jump off things as it is🤣

Lol. Very much possible. If HC is like anything he says, like wanting to be part of "good" content, Abhimanyu should be jumping off a cliff in two years. I don't want more Kabir Singhs in the real world nor fictional world. I mean if he is going to be shown for what he is cool, but not romnaticisng toxic shit for sure. 😆
