What are your views on dowry

A lot of people are greedy and very demanding. They ask for or expect a lot of dowry.

They are highly unfortunate children of God.

I think dowry was still better than the looting of the girl’s side that is happening these days in the name of ‘no dowry’. 😵

Dowry demand karne wale according to me.

Oh you didn’t know? They say no dowry but they want the wedding celebrations for 4859650 days in a 5 star hotel with rooms booked for everyone including their long lost friends. Then they want 85860 items on the menu. 869660 kilos of gold for the girl. 687607 crores of rupees in the bank, albeit in the girl’s name.

EDIT: Ideally a wedding between two adults should be their business with both of them deciding the budget and chipping in together and celebrate it the way they want to.

Dowry is important for our GDP

Families who asks for dowry r highly assholes in high rated. Just make ur son worthy get him educated n give him some good sanskars.

Dowry is a shagun and a blessing which the bride's parents give to groom's parents as a token of love so that the newly married couple can live happily ever after.

Dowry encompasses the Indian traditional values. We should respect them.
