Ayeza was definitely the bigger star than Danish when they got married, but Danish's career trajectory definitely got better afterwards. He did movies as the leading man, gave back-to-back hits on TV where he was the biggest star of those projects. Except Ab Dekh Khuda, he virtually carried all the projects on his back.
It was only after Deewangi that the audience understood what a true performer and superstar he is.
No offense to Ayeza, but her later hits have either been with Imran Abbas (and even their last show together got affected by Deewangi), MPTH was a joint effort, Meherposh was again with Danish and Laapata was a flop. Chupke Chupke was one exception case but that was a combined effort too...even though Ayeza nailed it as Meenu.
In actresses, Ayeza ofc is in top tier. But if we make a coed list then Danish will rank higher, even if media outlets put him down. And I am talking based on their recent projects.
