I know right ? This is actually pretty similar. I remember distinctly that this Dramione ship didn't emerge that much during the books era as it did after the films were released. Just because the actors were attractive and their hate chemistry was fire. All I thought was that they were intentionally promoting toxicity because Draco never showed Hermione an iota of respect cannonically. Abusing a person and humiliating a person is the new kind of love apparently ?
And AKT is nothing different in those terms. All the romance will be okay later on, due to the "angst" ?
Ugh, just makes me so mad. How casually do we accept the dislike and disrespect only to whitewash it with love in so many scenarios.
Yeh waali galti maaf hogi Imlie ki after she marries Aryan 😆
I too was guilty to turning a blind eye to toxicity. Gul's prev show, Humsafars starring Harshad Chopda. My first show of the actor's..and I went crazy for his character..drooling, lusting, defending..you name it, Been there, done that. (Haven't abused anyone though 😆)..that was a different type of toxicity..not AKT..but possessive..Only complained against the character when he deliberately fed the FL egg disguised in the food fully knowing her allergy ..and saving her when the adverse reaction kicked in.
Give the audience good looking leads, good acting, puppy eyes..good romantic scenes (Gul's forte) ..plus the guy had a sob story...and there you have it..the ship has sailed. I stopped being a dedicated fan to any show after that..😆
