I had the Jane Eyre series on TV all day today, luckily as my video wallpaper while multitasking. There are four episodes, over an hour each. After watching The Affair on prime, I had a really hard time accepting her as Jane, so it's probably a good thing that there's another one on Netflix. 😆 Thanks for letting me know, I'll check it out this week. :)

Never watched the series but Jane from the movie is nothing great. She’s dull and rather unattractive to be honest. I watched and loved the movie because of the hero. My God, the way he looked at her as if she was the most beautiful thing in the planet had me sighing to the ends of the solar system.

Anyone watched wuthering heights???

Oh I hadn’t realised for a long time he’s the same guy. But then I never paid much attention to him in B&P. I guess he was too pretty for me when he was younger.😆

Now, that he’s older I find him more rugged and hotter!
Their chemistry is off the charts for sure! Phew 🥵

There are three versions but only one is good. Similar to the atmosphere and how author wrote the characters.

He really is all that and more! *sighs* and I prefer the Netflix version (2011) over the 2006 one any day! Is it just or me or are these British men from period romance seriously out to ruin us girls?! Darcy, Thornton and now Rochester. and I'm sure there's more, I'll let you know when I find out. 😆

If there's anyone who's aged like fine wine, it's him for sure! 😉

Not sure if you noticed but even the other actor who played the crook in B&P is in the show, as Mel's previous husband. Can't wait for the next season either .... I'm rooting for his sis and the other dude to make it with my fingers crossed.
