I didn't watch today. How do you get the pre-cap without watching the whole thing?

Instead I watched the first two episodes of After Life (thanks for the rec, sidnilove) - the premise is sad but overall it has humor and is feel good.

I hated Akshu's repeated 'reeeeally sorrys' to Abhimanyu for wondering aloud about something perfectly reasonable - that if their love is meant to be, why is it this difficult and causing so much pain to their families. I also hated her earrings! They looked like mini pagodas and you could see her earlobes being dragged down😲 Naira used to wear similarly load-bearing earrings - although sometimes she wore simple classy diamond studs.
Abhimanyu is definitely a ticking time bomb - his reactions to Akshu talking, thinking or spending time with her family are so daraavana

Manish's heart attack track bht boring tha 😫 I didn't watch last week's episodes of Yrkkh. Aarohi is better than Akshu.

You just know, it's more AbhiRa drama and you should be keeping away. 😆

It's also restricting for men, do you not think? All relationships are restricting, in my opinion. None is completely a joy.. Life is restricting.

Isn't Clueless a modern/contemporary adaptation of Emma? I had so much fun watching it. And there is this Bollywood movie Aisha which is an almost remake of Clueless and I enjoyed that too. Only time I tolerated Sonam Kapoor on screen I guess because she was just playing herself I guess. 🤣

More than restricting it is so beneficial to men in my opinion. At least how marriage works in India.

I watched today's epi.Really, Manish was completely right. There can't be two opinions on it. And that p** Abhimanyu is such a double standard guy for whom his mother his everything but Akshu's family is dispensable.

I rather softened towards abhi in a few scenes today, with BP.. But then that's textbook behavior right? He seems like a good, reasonable guy but moment things don't go according to him, he immediately came down to threatening and blackmail.

So this is what I wonder -is it as restricting for men?

Funny, my mom says something very similar when we have this discussion - except she uses the word 'compromise', life is a compromise. My folks have given me a lot of freedom but she thinks it's left me with the illusion that the rest of my life will be completely footloose and fancy free. Her point is I will need to compromise if I want companionship and not be lonely once all my vella friends get married...

It's just very uncharted territory for me and I would love to hear more honest opinions about the tough parts of marriage but most people I know in RL just emphasize the positive, which I have a hard time believing given the greater than 50% divorce rate in America...
