Until the reviews came out there was zero buzz for Gangubai. The reaction from Berlin was very mediocre. The positive reviews were only a handful. But reviews in India and Alia’s aggressive promotions in the last 24 hours did the trick.

I’m not saying Pooja is right and Bhansali and Alia faked the numbers. What I am saying is that Pooja tweeted something very shady. You can’t look at that tweet and the timing of it and not think it’s some type of shade at Alia’s movie. You think I’m desperate. I think alia fans are desperate by denying something so obvious because they can’t handle even a suggestion of Gangu not being as great as it seems. It’s all in the interpretation.

And I’m a broken record by now talking about how no one is talking about how much money the distributors are making here. The numbers are not fake. The analysis of the numbers are at this point. The movie has another two weeks before Prabhas’ movie comes and it has the potential to make the 125 cr or whatever it needs to be a hit. But it will not be a hit with 80cr.
