India made it two wins from two to get the T20i series with Sri Lanka off to a great start and they will be eager to continue their winning streak as they face the tourists at HPCA Stadium for the second day in succession.

The hosts successfully chased down 185 to win in the second game, doing so by seven wickets and with 17 balls to spare which was largely thanks to Shreyas Iyer whose excellent start to the series continued with an unbeaten knock of 74 from just 44 deliveries.

SRI LANKA

Sri Lanka’s issues with the ball were laid bare once again as they succumbed to a heavy defeat in the second T20i against India despite producing a good total with the bat with a score of 183/5 a competitive score to defend.

Pathum Nissanka put his golden duck in game one behind him by top-scoring for the Sri Lankans with a score of 75 but four of their six bowlers went at over ten runs an over and the pressure is now firmly on them as they attempt to avoid a series whitewash.------------------

India produced another good display in the second T20i of the series against Sri Lanka and will be looking to wrap things up with another success in this final game to clinch a whitewash. The hosts were too good with the bat as they comfortably surpassed their target of 185 with plenty in hand and while Sri Lanka were much more competitive in the second game, their lack of quality with the ball was evident once again and it is unlikely that they will be able to salvage anything from this series.

Shanaka: It seems like a very good wicket. We want to win one game for pride and this is a good opportunity for boys to make it 2-1.

Rohit kept his cards fairly close to his chest on Saturday when he was asked whether India would experiment with their XI today. If Rohit doesn't rest himself and plays this game, he will become the most capped T20I player

Ishan Kishan has been ruled out of this game after having suffered a blow to the helmet while batting in the second T20I on Saturday. Kishan underwent a precautionary CT scan, as advised by the team's medical staff, and was subsequently discharged after a brief period of observation for concussion at a hospital in Kangra. A BCCI statement, released on Sunday, said the scan's findings were normal. "The BCCI Medical Team," the statement said, "will continue to closely monitor his signs of concussion."

In the absence of Kishan, Mayank Agarwal could get a game and Samson could keep wicket.

Thanks Soni , for sharing the news with us regarding Kishan's health condition. ❤️
