Books You Read Recently, Are Reading, Want To Read ? - Page 9

I plan on taking some books back with me (I'm in Mumbai right now). Any suggestions are welcome; English and Marathi... fiction and nonfiction.

Btw, half price books website has a sale Marathi books right now.

I would suggest the 2 books on Savarkar by Vikram Sampath. They not only cover Savarkar's life but provide so much more information and background on the India of that time and its freedom struggle. Its very well written, detailed yet interesting.

हसू नका ह कोणी, पण मी ना इंग्लिश मधे फक्त 2 books वाचली आहेत.

मराठी माध्यमातून शिक्षण झाले असल्याने मराठी साहित्य खूप वाचलंय.

इंग्लिश मधे मात्र मी 'ढ' आहे..

म्हणून तर मी इंग्लिश movies/वेब series नाही पाहत.

त्यामध्ये हसण्यासारखे काहीही नाही माझापण तसेच आहे.

मराठी साहित्य छान आहे. आणि त्यात तुझे वाचन खुप आहे.

In all honesty, I'm ashamed to be better at an alien language and just above average in my mother tongue.

Mhanoon me vaachat rahate...pan kathin vaachan kela tar interest kami hoil. Aani tyasaathi me mala jhepayl asse vachte.😃

Btw, the 2 English books you've read and classics.

I've read Gandhi hatya aani me and Garambhi cha baapu in Marathi.

My parents and grandparents were avid followers of Marathi literature. For several years Baba would buy books from Bombay book depot at Charni Road.

Saasri boamb aahe though.😆
