They are just milking the brand. YRKKH is the longest, and indians attach ho jaatey hai shows se. Harshad ke itni bhi fans nahi ki 2 mein TRP laaye. This is just literal the indian aunties or families who are stuck with this tv slot.

Honestly that is why they are caring about the plot or characters, free ka fanbase mil chuka hai, free ki TRP

and agar ye alag se banaya hota, toh I guarantee, ye nahi chalta

Why does jija ji cry so much?

Hospital bench pe he cried because Akshu was talking about how their love was affecting her family. He always knew that Akshu does family jaap. Itna rone ki kya zaroorat thi? 🤔

Then he cried again that Akshu is having fun with her family and not texting or calling him...whoever called them nibba nibbi is so right 🤣 Itne silly reasons ke liye jija ji rona shuru kar dete hai

Then he cried because he got insecure..You know I've noticed that as long as Akshu's complete focus is on jija ji, he's fine. During Anisha track, Akshu was constantly calling jija ji, trying to talk to him..trying to meet him and he was busy with Anisha. Jaise hi Akshu's attention shifts jija ji does tandav literally and figuratively 😆

He's going to make Akshu feel so guilty that she'll stop sharing her feelings with him.

But to be honest, I'm enjoying Anupama's singledom way too much 😆 I just don't want her to become dependent on Anuj even if he's the nicest guy in the world..She needs to learn to be independent and she needs to feel free..her relationship with Vanraj was so toxic

Why is Shivratri celebrated? Is it Shiv-Parvathi marriage? For us the story is Lord Shiva swallows Kalakuta poison to prevent it from causing destruction to earth. And Parvati holds on to his throat to prevent it from going down to his stomach so she keeps awake throughout the night. And the poison settles in his throat making his neck become blue and earning the name Neelkant. So here, we celebrate Shivratri by not eating any rice and not sleeping throughout the night.

Shivratri happens every month. Mahashivratri occurs once every year.

Lord Shiva and Devi Parvati are said to have been married on Mahashivratri, which is celebrated in north India as their wedding anniversary.

Mahashivratri also marks the day of the emergence of shiv linga.

I am deeply religious but not very involved in doing Pooja, I do it to a limited extent.

It is very offensive yaar, makers ko pata bhi nhi hai lord shiv hai kya. My blood boils when Abhimanyu compares his life and love story with lord Shiva, but I try to avoid it.

Abhimanyu, unlike Mahadev, gets angry over petty things. Mujhe to samjh me nahi aata insaan ko Bhagwan se comparison Karna kyu hai yaar Apni aukaat samjhni chahiye.

Shivangi's new show is ending ALREADY? Wow... the ITV space is really fickle. Maybe that's was HC's thinking "To heck with quality, I want a show that's lasted forever even though the content sucks"...

I didn't grow up in an area with a big Indian community but on Diwali we'd have a big celebration and that was the only time of the year we'd see Indian friends and colleagues of my parents. I also remember a few Holi get-togethers and as kids we liked getting the water guns and the colored water sprays. I think for ex-pat communities, these festivals are a good way to stay in touch with their cultural ties.

I don't know why my mother celebrates karva chauth... she is not religious or anything. She doesn't do all the rituals like they show on YRKKH and other shows. She fasts, and my dad cooks the meal with which she breaks her fast and that's it🤣

yes I think kali is an avataar of Parvati..Parvati has many avatars I think …kali, Durga, and many others.. I’m from Africa..we celebrate Diwali and other Hindu festivals..like Mahashivratri, Krishna Jayanti, hanuman jayanti, the New Years etc. but we don’t celebrate karva chauth..I don’t think we’ve ever did here where I live 🤔

So I'm sitting at the airport waiting for my flight and watching this week's episodes... ugh🤢

I really really don't get it. Abhimanyu is such a controlling, petty character - he gets upset that Akshara is dancing and spending time with her family on a festival day? And THAT makes him do the tandav - which as I understand is about channeling the divine flow of energy to destroy evil?

As for Akshara's dream (and our nightmare😒) - at least Kartik used to only dress up as Lord Shiva, here Abhimanyu is BEING Lord Shiva. I can't find one godly thing about him...(godawful yes, godly no🤣)

If it's this annoying to me, I can't imagine how distressing it must be to a religious person.

Also that scene on the bench outside the hospital, Abhimanyu's FACE with the red eyes and the angry expression!!! It's so scary - like something out of a psycho killer movie😲 (Bakwaspolice - we need a gif of this face of TWU WUV).

If someone i was dating ever looked at me with an expression like that, I would run a million miles and file a restraining order🤣

I felt bad for Arohi looking so left out while Akshara is making herself the center of attention in front of the family. Ugh, the dancing with the cell phone pics of significant others... I guess Arohi could've pulled up a photo of her MBBS degree😆

Never thought I'd feel bad for Manish who was one of the most awful S2 characters but I did feel bad for him so helpless in the hospital bed, being humiliated like that by Jijaji - who talks to a patient like that?? Especially one recovering from heart surgery! And then his thinking back to all of Jija's idhar udhar behavior with Akshara and Arohi.

Any guesses on what his condition is likely to be? I'm hoping it will be that Abhimanyu keeps his shirt on and never ever sings or does the tandav again...
