Dont know about karma and all. but the people dying there didnt deserve all this. both sides.

These politicians wont get out of their palaces yet ready to sacrifice thousands of their people.

This makes no sense and it not entire truth. It is Indian governments job to save people irrespective of students political stand or if they critisice government or not. Governemnt is not doing any favour by saving their own citizens. In a same way it is every Indian citizens right of freedom of speech to critisize governemnt if they don't agree.

Second thing, Even Indian embassy is not able to rescue people who are actually in Kiev and eastern parts. That picture of Indian bus is from western borders from where every other country is rescuing. Even Indian students in Keive are told same thing that thye should find shelter, calm down, and wait. They were asked no to take any transport to go to west now as it is not safe. So there is no difference in the response of US and India for their citizens.

One positive thing is Embassy has arranged shelter for some students as students had left their hostels and everything to come back on last air India flight which got cancelled.

Covid times , economic crisis , it’s drama by politicians . In Afghanistan , Russia doing n when it comes to it security , they invading. Ukraine supplied weapons against india n joining nato n given their land for nuclear plants for west n talking about humanity n begging india for help . It’s drama by us , eu , Ukraine n Russia .

Also, bud, India is not an island. It's part of the world, both physically and economically. Not only does the conflict stand a greater chance of spreading to India and the Middle East than to the West, Indian economy will take a nosedive. Change in gas prices due ro this conflict will hit countries like India the hardest.

The sheer ignorance in some these posts is mind-boggling! You really think India will be unaffected in this war? I hope to God there isn't one, but India will be one of the places worst affected!

bold- True, but China won't ever dare to wage a one-on-one war against India because even though India might be finished post such a conflict, but China would also be heavily jeopardized and lose all chances of becoming a super power ever again.

But yeah India not taking a stand here means it's supporting Russia. USA and its European allies won't be pleased with India at all right now.

India should & will stay neutral like it historically has. It has no obligation to condemn Russia or even honor the sanctions imposed by the NATO nations. This will not have an effect on India's foreign policy. Russia isn't an Iran or an Iraq. India cannot be caught in the crossfire. At the same time, we all hope that better sense prevails over Putin & he pulls his troops out as soon as possible.

Russia is Indias ally.

We are neutral and should remain so.

India does not have to sacrifice her own soldiers for their war.

Modi did try and talk sense to Putin. Hope there is peace soon
