I also felt that Anuj was kinda forcing her for a reply. I mean he waited for so long. Then longer for her confession. Why the force then? His character had a sense of theraav and poise. Whatever happened to that? Why the sudden desperation?
Anu-Babuji dialogues were nicely portrayed. Her reservations, trust etc. but just like the other bits and pieces, once you connect it to the story, it all just loses all the essence.
Just like you’ve mentioned - if she is scared of what the relationship holds and if she loves him, then she should in true sense cut the chords and stop going to that toxic place.
Also the line on “aap the toh therapy ki zaroorat nahi padi” wasn’t needed I felt. Are they saying that people who don’t have anyone to support need therapy and not the others? Do they really not understand therapy at all?
She wants the wound to heal but won’t let it either.
