Err.. Actually itni aasani se nahin hoti, there's a separation process after the pronouncement and a negotiation process through which the couple can again get back if they so wish, and if the divorce is finalised, there are fixed financial settlements etc. that have to be met. It's not as easy or as casual as is shown on tv and movies where it is grossly misrepresented. At the same time it's not even as difficult or as abhorrent as culturally conservative families make it out to be.
