Viewers connect with characters and not actors

I am referring to the total twist in Abhira's and Arohi's character sketch after rejection and confession.

3.3 to 2.5 is a drastic fall..

I saw a number of episodes from all 3 generations. Everyone is unique.

Mr. Rajan Shahi spoke about trilogy, unfortunately he did not retain the trikon essence.

I could connect with Abhira resigning from their jobs. What I couldn't was the complete transition of two broken characters into Arabian night lovers with a unwanted sister in between.

I also want express my disappointment with the acting and execution of certain scenes.

Mayank Arora and Kashish Roy lack the chemistry. The anguish of being separated from your loved ones weren't reflected on their faces.The emotional break down and confrontation where their love affair was exposed to the family was good.

My dearest Sahir Azeem Choudhary aka Harshad Chopda also did not fit into the mould of a sane, head above shoulders doctor.

The entire execution of the dating phase was a failure IMO opinion

Abhira scenes resembled a father fulfilling a child's suppressed wishes.

Abhimanyu took over Manish Goenka's responsibilities.

Both the leads were into a guardian and ward mode. A husband or boyfriend cannot take your parents place. It is a silent or golden rule.

Arohi was white washed to an extent that she became a prop.She lacked the X factor of taking revenge or plotting against everyone who betrayed her. The MD course was not persued.

If I was in her place, I would have gone berserk.

She again became grey during Valentine day and indirectly contributed to Manish's heart attack.

Yesterday she hugged Abhimanyu with relief.

The writers do not know that Arohi Goenka is the Trump card of YRKKH.

Within 2 weeks the team lost the plot and 3 months of hard work went down the drain.

Throwing a heart attack at the viewers was a last minute effort to get back on track.

IMO, the creatives should not put in so much efforts to connect with the second generation.

He won't go with a dark character, as yrkkh doesn't goes for dark characters within families. She will stay grey with ups and downs. Arohi wont be a full fledged vamp its not an ekta kapoor show and they shouldnt go towards that path.

Yrkkh is all avout family and how at the enf of the day the circle cones together and this is what makes it different from other shows.

Agree on the pt. that leads should stop being a gaurdian figures but its itv this is what they do..they leave their work and become problem solvers for their families and then create unnecessary fights between them...soo cliche tbh

The story has been inconsistent since tilak 1.0, there are many things unresolved or to be called out. Akshu should be called out for abhi's sufferings and so should Abhi for taking rishta for arohi and then leaving her, marrying for his mother's health doesn't justifies his actions. You can't destroy another person's life just to fulfill your mother's wish🤷‍♀🤷‍♀

Your points are valid but I don't think TRP depends on storyline. Viewers get drama tamasha they are okey with it.

If you look current shows on star plus they don'teven have proper story just like ghkkpm it's very toxic show still have high trp becoz it is full of dltamasga of relationship. Currently bhabi proposed her devar.

When abhimanyu first comes with tilak 1.0 and sees akshara's sari stuck in car..him flirting tum nayi naveli dulhan lag rahi ho and akshara running away...am not asking to make akshara shy... Bold akshu also works like the ladder scene was...just show that spark of flirting and looking into each other's eyes deeply with passion and scene becomes magic...there is no need for abhimanyu to baby talk akshara...they can talk like a mature couple... Like the drunken episode where both get drunk...It was so nice... Christmas episode was nice..... Loved the fire camp episodes too n their bike ride in that one n nok jhok, Abhimanyu's first dream sequence in abhi's bedroom starting with akshara's room dekh lu tumhara, kitna baat karte ho... Why can't they show that type of romance...akshara being a bubbly girl and abhi being a madly in love guy works bold hot man kind... There is no need to show scenes like makar sankranti talks were cringe, his akshu akshu... Can he call her akshara also sometimes..

There was no need to bring up serious problems in their dating phase. It could be them doing simple nok jhok ..but their dating phase was not about knowing each other, all their conversation it was all about "family ko shaadi ke liye manate hai" 🤢 like Bro, shadi can wait...atleast show that craze of newly found love ...that why you want to be together...shadi toh hojaegi...

There was Kruti Apa character in HS whom I hated to the core. I literally used to mute or switch off the TV when she appeared on screen. Later I came to know that trps fall when we toggle or mute certain scenes.

Something similar took place in those 2 weeks post confession. The OTT flying kisses, Saami dance, Anisha cutting her wrists.

Harshad and Pranali's USP is angst with light flirting scenes. The teenage romance with all the works did not have any takers.

Dedicating Valentine day to your mother is a good gesture. I found it cringe when mumma mumma was uttered. Sorry the Voice Modulation did not fit the bill.

Even Abhimanyu taking steam was off because I thought Harshad is promoting a product.

Kaisha is another road block, she is not needed at all.

Apart from shoddy writing, the scene execution also depends on the directors and actors.

if they don't do a proper job from the start to the finish then we start muting scenes.

The end result is drop in trps.

I honestly don't think the problem is with the execution of the romantic scenes. Problem is with the audience and the makers not understanding what the audience wants. Audience wants to see Maine pyaar kiya and makers are trying to make this into hum saath saath hain.

They focused on Kairav and Anisha which was a bad mistake.

They forgot about Arohi- you always need a catalyst.

They made Abhira scenes about everything else but Abhira. The valentines day was such a snooze fest. Why do I want to watch Manjri be the kebab mein haddi?

I also think that the trp audience get bored from sane and simply storylines so yes the makers do need to make sure Abhira keep having problems because daal mein kuch kala hona he chahiye.

It is the communication gap and methodology used by the creative team ie writers, screen play, directors which is not working and hampering the show.

Abhimanyu on paper maybe a unique character but when he comes on screen our expectations are not met.

Aarohi is another character undergoing a makeover.

Everyone talks about how poor the script is. No it isn't.

I wish to bring the importance of communication your work place and home.

For example in our house if vegetables are not stocked our maid will make fish or meat curry. She'll never inform that something is over or has to be refilled. My mom is always at the receiving end.

In same manner many us need clear cut instructions and cannot resort to telepathy.

IMO, what the creatives feel and what comes out is not the same.
