It's a vicious cycle in which Sai is stuck...needs to be stopped at the first instance something like this happens but here Virat is getting praised for his Mahaan act, which will eventually lead to more such acts...

Definitely. The problem is that he has pulled an illegal stunt violating his official code of conduct and everyone thinks he is mahaan including himself. He has no dilemma even. If he had a do-over he'd still do the same stunts. He'd not change anything or do things differently. Thats the problem.. If he is going to put his marriage on the line for all and sundry in the name of zimmedari or his perception of guilt/dosti/etc etc. then there's no point of such a relationship. He needs to make Sai his partner and accomplice. If he cant make her feel secure, if he can't prioritize her, if he takes her for granted repeatedly and refuses to see her concerns- then she should not be with such a guy. Vaise bhi his family is also inhumane, opportunistic and selfish so now she doesn't have a reason to stay even for them.

As i see this, this 'zimmedari obsession' is a fancy name used for EMA, so that no one points a finger at ML and he can be termed Mahaan after everything he does. A man once indulges in it will do it again if first time goes unchecked and will forever have reasons to justify it always..this is what's happening, otherwise what was the need to be with Shruti in the same home even after she confessed her love loud and clear. And his family will be like this only, at the end of the day sai is an outsider with no family of her own and would be taken advantage of, especially when her own husband doesn't take a firm stand for her.
