I had made this topic the last time he was shown doing ghar ka kaam that its so important to show such things that men have an equal share in house chores…I cant have men sitting araam se and make women slog in the kitchen all day… equality is what they wanted to show but it didnt come across as that and turned into over glorifying peeling matar

right! Because if anu was working in the kitchen, we wouldn't have entire scenes about her discussing veggies na. if they keep this up in the background like v lowkey + consistently anuj being in the kitchen then I feel like it'll be more natural.

but also this is ITV so unless he is right there announcing he's cooking and helping her audiences won't even believe he cooks 🤡

They have Anuj doing atmasamarpan of his personality at the shrine of his love 🤔 Everything being done and shown is in keeping with Anupama's character, and only hers.

I get that they're showing him embracing the simple things in life and focusing on his love, but rather than a personality transplant, a more gradual change would have been good.

The proposal was simple and pleasant, like how Anupama would want. But, it's also an important moment of his life. In fact, a lot more poignant for him than her. Mixing it with both simplicity and style would have reflected well for both their character traits.

Bas, Kavya remains true to herself.
