Yep, the divorce one didn't happen like that either. In the divorce one, Adi had said he wants to divorce Imlie because he wants to give Malini and the child their haq, and Malini was present there with AdiLie, but it played out differently in the episode. In the epi, Adi didn't say that, instead they made Adi believe that Imlie had sent the divorce papers while the promo showed as if it was Adi. Plus, Malini wasn't with them when their conversation happened in the epi as opposed to the promo.

See, the promos have always been created to show what turn the story is about to take. But it doesn't mean it will be as exact as the promo.

For example, when AdiLie divorce happened, the promo suggested Aditya wanted to marry Malini to give a name to the child and hence is divorcing Imlie and hands over the papers to her, with Malini by his side. But the way that played out actually, was Aditya assumed that Imlie wanted an exit from the marriage, due to Malini's machinations, hence before she could leave him, Aditya signed and left Imlie.

Hence, I would choose to believe that the marriage may not be forced and be forced at the same time. It depends on how it will be played out.
