Waha it was not glorified instead showed how wrong it was and slowly it was shown him learning how wrong he was.

But may be aur chalta toh usko aur thik karte. However Kartik was best there.

No initially toh usne khud hi garbar ki, mute kaha thi. He was not a mute spectator. He was only learning to take stand if you closely followed it then you would have seen. It was a gradual journey and it had to go off air in between.

It was shown how his actions were a result of wrong upbringing.

The same person who himself thought cooking was only for girls at the start, went against his Daadi , whom he almost worshipped , to cook juice for Ishqi.

When he asked sorry once in private and Ishqi told that humiliate in front of all and ask forgiveness in private, so he did that next in front of his family members. It is not a great deal usually, but for the person he was at the initial episodes, it is a great deal.

I think you would have understood the small steps only if you followed it. He was no where near to an ideal partner, but was on the way to improvement in gradual steps.

I am not saying everything is perfect, but better than many other shows that are running at present.
