All these points make him responsible,caring,considerate human being firstly and than a very very good life partner as meetH always says anyone who would have got him would be lucky.

He is very good son,brother,brother-in-law and now husband.

And yeah in real life thats what all matters,he is the perefct example of whom you should choose as your life partner.

But no he doesn't love meetH,love is emotion which is very empowering,its rare to experience love in your life,we experience attatchments on day to day basis but love no its difficult to feel that strongly for someone.

He cares for meetH he is attached to him but she is not someone who can make him go mad, his logic his mind his heart everything is at right place even when she is mad at him,she is not able to make him go illogical becoz no emotion than love can make anyone do that,he was cool when she ignored him,her avoidance disturbs him but doesn't push his buttons.

Becoz harmones which releases when a person falls in love certainly make you do these illogical things which you marked as bookish or filmy.

Its not filmy dear its true,rare in real life but true.

Their story is realistic not love story.

Their story is same which goes in day to day life but not love story which we see in fiction becoz thats the reason love doesn't exist in its true form in real world it unfortunately only exists in stories,films

When logic get involved emotions takes back seat and its good if your relationship is logical rather than emotional I am very much in favor of this but to satisfy myself I label their practical marriage as love story nahi I don't feel so.

I know our views differ a lot but I always felt ki how quick his emotions for manushi hooda but he showed signs of love with her,she sent him in jiffy,she raised his heartbeats,she made him blush,she made him wait for her,its was too soon but that has signs of love.

With meetH everything is planned as it should be its not spontaneous it couldn't be,they would have to plan their marriage they have to make it work,they have to live as normal married couple.

And lastly when love combines with care,respect and attatchment than its something which is magical but thik hai jo hai..

Baki itni planning kar ke I hope ki finally kuch toh feel kare uske liye not ki she is my wife and I've duties towards her as his father sahaab taught him on first day of HM and since than he knows intiamcy is not off the table and whenever meetH will feel ready they would have to get intimate.

But at the end toxic love se toh yeh hi better hai..kam se kam your blood doesn't boil while reading.

I know you wouldnot be agree with me becoz you labelled his affecting with manushi as harrassment but I never thought that way becoz according to me he was disturbed becoz he was still getting affected becoz of her and he was guilty for feeling that way thts why he was disgusted with himself whenever she touched him her touch affected him and disgusted him with himself for feeling that way.

So we differ a lot.

I get what you are saying. And from your pov its correct.

But I still feel what he felt for Manushi was nothing more than a crush or infatuation which he built a dream on. Any crush or infatuation is like a drug... it also raises your heartbeats, can send you in a daze, make you do illogical things and then you dont get that drug then you have withdrawal symptoms which show as if you will die without that drug. So when his dream with Manushi broke it hurt. And he went through withdrawal symptoms. If he really was in love with Manushi he would have been shown thinking more of her even when she wasnt around. But then there were triggers which made him remember her. He also sought answers from her why she did what she did. He has never done that with Meety.

In the third angle track, whenever Manushi came up, it brought back them memories of the heartbreak he went through and he relived the pain of a fake relationship. I never felt he relived the good times with her.

And about doing things logically. He too has used logic in many places when courting Manushi. He also has kept his priorities in correct place even when in love with Manushi. Manushi did not supersede everything. As an example is the cricket match that he played with Meety. He found it more important to play the match with Meety than to be on time to meet Manushi. I dont know if I remember correctly, he didnt even inform that he would be late.

He didnt have that kind of trust on Manushi the type he has on Meety ever since he started knowing her properly and I will say had already started falling in love with her too.

When Masoom accused Manushi of hiding something after the engagement, he went to check even if it was just to prove Masoom wrong. When Masoom accused Meety of hiding Manushi he didnt bother. He just trusted that Meety does what is best. He didnt feel the need to even prove Masoom wrong.

Well for me, I dont want the only passionwala love if this trustwala love is available.

Having said this, I will say the makers have made their fair share of mistakes in showing things in the right perspective so that the whole fandom didnt have to keep discussing it again and again. The whole third angle thing that they introduced during HM track just messed it up.

and as far as Manushi is concerned.. its his past who kept on haunting him.. his major concern was whether he could do something which may hurt Meet H … not once he tried getting close to Manushi.. he had some unresolved issues of past .. and Manushi putting on a facade of someone repenting is not helping either … I know one can’t argue on the fact that he was affected by Manushi’s presence… but slowly slowly that concern has faded out… and it was more of disgust and distrust… even more than Manushi, its Meet H and her safety which is more important… and that Christmas night was the proof… he was ready to move forward with Meet H if she wants to .. but she wasn’t in her senses… and hearing her drunk talk, he realized that she is being pressurized… the same way he is .. and he decided to give her space and assurance…

In desert, for the first time he had a feeling he will lose her .. the guy who is scared of ghosts and darkness .. looked for her throughout the night in a desert… it shows how scared he was to lose her …

her finding Tej is what cemented his belief that she is the best life partner for him.. after coming back when Manushi tried to get close to him and tried to question his inner feelings.. he became doubtful again that he may hurt Meet H trust unknowingly… he felt disgusted with himself if Manushi touches him or if he accidentally caught her in his arms.. but once Meet H gave him a reality check .. at that day he has removed every doubt or lingering painful memories associated with Manushi and treated her as his wife’s sister or someone working for her mother..

Even during that night dress sequence, he wasn’t awkward at all.. yes everyone made fun of him but he was surprised that his wife will wear such clothes.. if yes, he had no issues .. and that’s why he forced her to wear it … to understand what is going through.. if she has wore it, he would have teased her more .. but that’s it .. he was comfortable.. (I do have a feeling, in future he may gift her a similar dress to express his desire to move forward if she wants to…☺️ ) …

but Love k station pr gaadi abhi b ni pahuchi h… atleast he doesn’t have that Eureka moment yet….batti ni jali h ldke ki…💡

Nikki thanks for this 😆 Bcz you have put down a lot of the examples that I wanted to write in my own review post after watching the 23rd Feb episode and was wondering whether I would ever manage to be coherent 😆

Agree with most of what you have written. Abt his Eureka moment I have a different take now. How temporary or permanent it is I have to see. 😆

What I will add here is there are too many and I mean way too many instances where we can say what he feels for her is more than friendship. After watching 23rd feb episode, I feel this is exactly where we have gone wrong. In most itv shows, its like one incident - maybe life threatening, maybe jealousy inducing or the likes - which brings this moment of love realisation. Until then it could be sexual tension, nok jhok etc.

But here its different. Love is not a moment of realisation. Its a journey, not a destination.

In replying to posts , I have already started to forget my own points that I wanted to put down in my own post. 😔 saare idhar udhar replies mein scatter ho rahe hain 😆 I dont know if I will be able to consolidate them later.

So here I will just say, that I feel his turning point was the hospital track, rather when he saw Meety fight the gunde for him. The reason he thought of Meety first when gunde attacked was because he was already feeling guilty about his outburst on her, that is even before the gunde intercepted him.

In the hospital he saw her there, after all the shit he had served her. Guilt again, but then there was another flavour to that guilt added. I will say it was something like awe, for lack of any better word. It was like 'kis mitti se bani hai yeh ladki'. He felt undeserving of her care and attention while she gave it in wholesale.

See love is not a single feeling and no one lands on it just like that suddenly. It has to start somewhere and it starts usually in a different kind of emotion, and not necessarily attraction. Even love at first sight, even if it did exist ( bcz I simply dont believe in it ) , starts with admiration of some quality. It could be beauty, voice or the likes.

So here I feel his love journey towards Meety started after the gunda track. Flavours got added to his emotions and love kab hua pata nahi chala bcz I think there is no single moment. And it has only grown since.

For Meety's journey too I have to say the same thing. It started with guilt. But flavours got added along the way. Emotions are very complex and you can never box and label them.

At this stage both love each other I have no doubt. Abhi romance and passion ka flavour baaki hai.
