I don't think Akki has ever intentionally wanted to take any favors from the Kapoor's. He did not go to Ram and ask him to invest money in his film. Infact he and Ram both did not even know that Shubham bribed the producer to get him onboard. Shubham thought Akki would leave Shivi for his dream role, but it did not happen, and Akki signed the contract only after Shivi said an Ok for it. Even while signing he did not know that Shubham invested money in it.

Now that his film has stalled, he is once again trying different auditions and even thought of taking up a normal job instead of films for the sake of Shivi.

Even after his costar tried to trap him and Shivi insisted that she would ask Ram to get another heroine onboard and restart the film, he did not agree to it as he did not want Anjali to loose her job.

As far as his work ethics are concerned , I think he has maintained dignity and never asked or expected favors.

And to all this, my mind and heart screamed: "God, thank you for the only man in the Sood family." Akki adopted the upbringing of the family and the example of his sister. After all, we all see that Priya for Akki is not only an infinitely beloved sister, but also a person whom he looks up to and is proud that she is like that. He is taught to be independent, sacrificial and honest, yielding, but fighting for the future.

I understand you point. But looking at in-laws... Take the Soods, fun loving who accepted Ram in a jeffy, they pamper him, treat him as his own and never made him feel out of place. Now Take the Kapoor, high class sophisticated, they always remind the Soods their position, indirectly mock their financial status, Have they ever made Akki or Priya feel at home in their home? And Ram likes the Sood Home because it is the place where he gets real love and care unlike his family who don't even bother. And coming to Akki-Shivi, I dont know why but I feel they dont match together, I mean there is no chemistry at all.

in s1 priya's brother did cheat on ram's sister later in the story, maybe this season same may happen just that instead of priya's sis becoming one of the main villain n taking ram's property it might be priya's bro akki instead hope that doesnt happen

however i like akki's love n concern for his sister what i dont like is the way he treats shivi n sometimes emotionally blackmails her this is why shivi had trust issues.

yes, I love Neeraj. He brings the best in Ram. Like if Ram sees him, be sure next two episodes are going to be Raya show all and all.

Sood's literally treat Ram with so much respect, pamper him, love him ..

They always look down upon him, never leave a chance to take a dig at his status.. Nandini threw gifts at the Sood's during Diwali saying Akki toh nahi afford kar payega..

I mean I don't see a point of attacking Akki's financial position again and again. He didn't lie to Shivi about it. The struggle he is going through right now is the story of every aspiring actor with no connections.

He is not poverty stricken.. You can get Tarun or someone to fetch his clothes from outside. I liked it when he said jitna aaj ke liye chahiye rakh leta hun , bakki return kar do .

Ram's intentions r good, but his family will in no time use sharp words like pehenlo ye mehenge kapde , kabhi dekha nahi hoga, typical Nandini style of taunting people with sweet words...

Even Mami ji taunts Shivina , but the rest of the family try their best to keep her happy, to not make her feel out of place. They pamper her a lot.

But there is not a single person in the KM other than Ram who doesn't give cold vibes and look down upon Akki.

How will Shivi feel if Meera and Sood sisters indirectly taunt her for being good for nothing papa/bhai ki pari who just dresses up and uploads pics on social media? All Sood women excluding Maitreyi r working and good with household errands as well. Shivi can neither support her husband financially nor run household errands, but they understand the privileged background she is coming from and love her for who she is..

Anyways I think Akki-Shivi honeymoon period is over. Shivi found middle class cute, now the reality is dawning upon her . She would not want to go back now ..

I respect your opinion but I believe a person is how he treats others in the worst scenario.

He knew what he was marrying into from the start. He knew that she will not be financially independent or do household chores (which she did try initially). In life you need to balance your relations. Treating your wife as a load of crap and trying to be their for his sister, will lead him no where. Sorry I but really cannot find him adorable or cute. He is the worst scripted character. And the actor playing him also makes me feel miserable.

I think Akki's mother has acted in very bad spirit with Shivina too. She got divorce papers and called her a future gold digger. (Which practically was the most laughable argument ever). So Shivi's resentment towards her in-law has some logic.
