The character never signed off officially so he was always lurking around. Our theory is, he is just pretending to be good in front of Tejo, still has dual side to his personality. Meeting psychiatrist, recovering is all farce. He activated plan B of mental illness after he saw Tejo slapping him and walking away. To remain close to her, he started this mental illness act. Kept meeting her family, specially Rupi who wants him as SIL. Jasmeen’s plan to get Fateh failed but she is still getting funded from someone and who else will gain from keeping FaTejo apart than Angad Maan.
