Why are they making Raavi go the zabardasti route again? Why?

What’s the point of showing her vow in front of the fire?

“ Mein agni ko sakshi maan kar bolta hoon, mein apni begunayo saabot karoongi”

You know how powerful and pious is to take a vow against the fire.

But tje writers have made a mockery out of religious sentiments, marriage, love, relationships, emotions pretty much everything in this show,

The writers are intending to show that Raavi will be thrown out of the house by Police on the 7th day as promised by Suman by if she fails prove her innocence again and again.

Suman and Shiva can’t wait for her to be thrown out for good. I am sure they are already rejoicing at her failure but this time they will only get closure when she is thrown out publicly by Police, Suman is clear and even reiterated today that she will never let Shiva and Raavi to be together .

Raavi doesn’t deserve any of this in general but this time she deserves it for being ziddi and doing zabardasti. She nerds a wake up call. I can’t wait for her to be thrown out of the house by Police soon,

I'm not sure the audience will forget what the others have done to Raavi (or rather, I hope they don't), but Raavi's character is certainly going down the drain. Ab uski baari hai.

These writers just have to make a mockery out of everything. Suicide, rituals, abuse, toxicity, motherhood.

My only hope now is a severe TRP drop.

If this happens, I want ravi not to believe shiva when he confess he too loves her..she should be done with his chapter..and he has to be pushed to a great extend to get her trust back..

I don't understand the purpose of showing Raavi leaving pandya niwas to prove her innocence . It turned out to be phuski as she couldn't prove anything and back to pandya niwas again... Dikhana kya chahte hain .. Ghum phir ke story wohi atki hui hain.

I agree.

If they show Raavi attempting suicide, let Shiva work (for ONCE in his darned life!) to get back that Raavi. Let him stand up to Suman Kaki, the entire family. Let the family taunt him and tell him he pushed her to this. Let them all regret not helping her (except Bhabhi 🤪).

My hope is by this time, the existing writers finish their contract and we get new ones! And hopefully, they'll execute this well. 👍🏼

Off-topic -

I remember this show called 'Maryada - Lekin Kab Tak', a SP show that used air at 11 PM.

The show was centred around four women of one family; the MIL had an unfaithful husband, the older DIL's husband turned out to be gay, the younger DIL was molested, and the MIL's sister had an abusive husband.

Though the younger DIL was the main lead (Riddhi Dogra), the show focused on a lot of issues, and while there was definite drama, I thought they did a relatively decent job of showing stuff such as PTSD, suicide attempt, recovery, and all four of them succeeding in the end. They were shown to realise their mistakes and rectify them, and then grow stronger & independent.

Since we have been talking about self-respect, abuse & toxicity, I just realised the stark difference between these two shows.

Ravi coming back.. kandyas naagin dance tamasha.. swayamvar...imposition writing..everything is bakwaas..anitha is not going to learn from her mistake writing impositions.. what do they think..bring 4 or 5 grooms and tell her to marry.. and she will have to marry like that?..and that marg will be acceptable by law?..nonsense ka bhi nonsense..I really dnt know what even r they trying to do with this..r they just stretching it for the sake of stretching?..

Stretching and nothing else. It achieved nothing, except showing to the audience that the Pandyas have the most adbhut ideas that cannot be conceived or understood by us normal humans. 🤪
