I was just thinking about this ... In BALH2, every track in the first phase, there is a similar track in the next phase. So button kaand makes sense. They are not maintaining the chronology though, that's all

He really has spine to speak up against the Kapoor's and question them if they misbehave with Priya

Yes, that's why I did say earlier that Akki will be the one questioning Ram on his relationship with Vedika which closes the loop of Ram questioning Akki on his relationship with Anjali. Ram will only come to sense when Priya or her family questions him. So I guess they will play this track now. Nandini and Vedika are expecting the same thing and Soods leaving KM because of Ram's dhoka, 2 birds in 1 shot.

Dhoka will cause Soods to leave and not allowing Kapoors to be near them. Think abt it, if Priya’s accident wouldn’t have happened, there was a probability of all marriages falling apart with no point of return. That is Nandini plan. Priya wont pardon anybody who does Dhoka & Akki will just support her. For him, his sister is above Shivi. They will also hurt Akki’s ego by indirectly calling him ghar jamai

I liked the handholding scene though I could not get why Ram could not a say a few more words of comfort to Priya. I know he was in a dilemma of wanting to apologise but not wanting to thereby rake up the painful topic.

Why do we focus so much on apologising when we make a mistake - what is more important than reducing our guilt is comforting the affected party. Ram need not have explained but he could have at least held her hands in a friendly gesture of comforting (which he has had ample training of from his bestie ‘Vedu’!) and asked if she was ok, told her that he was there if she wished to talk.

But the handhold was nicely done and full of meaning.

1) Symbolises what Ram repeated minutes before, haan Valentines hai toh saath hone chahiye.
2) Also liked how Priya’s other fist was tightly closed, indicating her holding back & fear, while Ram’s other fist was initially closed, but when he sort of mentally decided to capitalise on the situation he curled his fingers around her hand gently in a clear gesture and his other fist opened - relaxed.

3) Again, symbolism that their togetherness may have started accidentally but now it is cautiously intentional from his side, and fearful acceptance from hers.

Thanks my friend for posting this, I also wanted to post specifically about 2 scenes, one MM and Priya and the other was the band holding one.

This one was when words are not needed to emote… they were brilliant with that gesture. He accidentally put his hand on hers … and did not want to remove it… it was more of a gesture that he understands and wants to be a part of her pain, and he felt bad that he had unknowingly caused it.

She did not pull her hand either, although as you said her fist was closed, but she did like - that she had a support in him, a friend to share the pain… not literally but just an assurance that she has someone.

The scene reminded me of one of my earlier posts where I mentioned both of them want to move ahead yet there is a constant hesitation about how the other person would perceive any advances and that was evident in the scene.

Yes, i was thinking same. Last time he after button kaand he complimented vedika in saree thinking it's priya this time it will be priya 🤭

I don't know about chronology when did the first phase was closed?

so I think there is no hidden bigger agenda.. they just want to use Akki, gaslight him into taking Priya back to Sood house
